We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is an old building that has been renovated, but has kept the feel of old world charm. Keep in mind if you stay here there are steps in odd areas that you need to watch out for. It is easy to trip and fall. The old woodwork is amazing, as well as are the stone stairs. Would highly recommend to stay here.

Ideal location and gated parking on site. Hotel outstanding and made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived. After a day and evening exploring the streets of York it was good to relax in the superb surroundings of the lounge bar with a glass or two of vino blanco. 🙂
