    This is a fabulous, single-storey, stone barn conversion in an idyllic rural setting in the heart of the Howardian Hills, one mile from Brandsby, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.

    Brook Cottage is a fabulous, single-storey, stone barn conversion in an idyllic rural setting in the heart of the Howardian Hills, one mile from Brandsby, and can sleep four people. This all ground floor cottage has a king-size double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a twin bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is ample off road parking, lockable bike storage and an enclosed, small, lawned garden with patio, furniture and a barbecue. With so much to see and do nearby and the wonderful city of York not far away, Brook Cottage is an ideal holiday base. Please be advised: Electric cars are not able to be charged at this property, there are charging points located in Malton and York. Please note: This property only accepts seven night booking and Friday check ins during peak season (start of April to end of September)

    The tranquil little village of Brandsby in the Vale of York is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty surrounded by the Howardian Hills. Pretty villages, lively market towns and great walking opportunities are all within easy reach, and the surrounding area has a rich history and offers Castle Howard, Byland Abbey and Helmsley Castle.
