"Very convenient location to Hongdae and subway line 2/4/5, lots of restaurants on the street below, but be aware there are slopes and the hostel has stairs. Could be hard for large luggage. The owner Richard is really friendly and responsible. Basic communication in English/Chinese are both fine. Room itself is small but clean. Bathroom is separated from where you sleep but shower head is just above the toilet. Also only saw some small towels. Overall had a nice stay there. "

"This hotel was perfect. The location is ideal if you would like to enjoy the night market or do some shopping. The location has so much within walking distance. We knew the rooms would be small, but it worked well for our family of four and our kids loved their spaces. The staff was really the best part. Both at check in and check out. The staff was phenomenal. They spoke wonderful english and were incredibly helpful. Our flight came in late, and they texted to make sure we knew how to check...

"Oh my goodness, where do I even start? Staying here added a special kind of magic to my trip that I will never forget. The owner Kwangsup is an absolute gem of a person who became my good friend during my time here. He and his family run the place and that personal touch is what makes it so magical. Their kindness is above and beyond and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Seoul. I could write on and on for hours about this place and still wouldn’t be able to sufficiently say how amazing it was. "

"4泊利用しました。 ソウル駅から地下鉄1号線で3駅、12番出口(エレベーターあり)から徒歩4〜5分。フロントは2階でエレベーターが無い為、客室は低層階をリクエストしたら3階にしていただきました。 チェックイン時にスタッフが誰もおらず名前、部屋番号、パスワードが記載された紙が置いてありそれを見て部屋に入りました。 パスポートやデポジットは不要でした。 部屋やバストイレはとてもキレイで清潔でした。 広めの空間にシャワーとトイレと洗面台があり床はすぐ乾きます！ 部屋はスーツケースを広げられました。 駅周辺は飲食店が沢山あり快適に過ごせました！ 次回もまた利用したいです。 "

"This hostel is 2 mins walk from metro station, surrounded with many restaurants, coffee shops and a big Seoul Forest Park, the ambience is cozy and chill which you can feel another side of Seoul. We rented a private room with a private bathroom which was nice, clean and quiet though not very big. They also have a common kitchen for cooking and eating, provided with free water and tea which is a credit. Their rooftop is spacious and good for reading and chatting. Their host is super nice...

"The guesthouse itself served its purpose for my overnight stay in the area. The bed was clean, and the staff was helpful and informative. The bathroom in my dorm was interesting in that if the sink ran too long, the floor flooded. Also, our dorm room door stayed unlocked the entire night. It wasn't a problem, but it defeated the purpose of giving us room keys. "

" I give this property an overall grade of 4 out of 5. The rooms may be not spacious compared to the hotels that I stayed and they don’t clean your room not after 4 days of stay. They can also improve their breakfast menu and their self serve laundry facility. However, they are located along the famous “Myeongdong Night Market” and “Myeongdong Cathedral”. Specially the staff are friendly, courteous, and able to speak English. I recommend to the owner to increase the salary of their staff who...

"Room was large and the AC kept it nice and cold. Having my own bathroom with a mini shower was a bonus. For $10 Canadian you can have your laundry done on site. Surrounding area was very hip and not at all touristy. "

The only thing I would have to say is that the amenities could have been slightly better as there was less than half a bottle of detergent, hand soap and showering necessities. There was also limited amount of towels provided. If you wanted your room to be cleaned or other amenities, you would have to pay an extra fee.
