"Staff are lovely and the grounds, facilities (swimming pool) are nice, the steam room is a nice addition but it is quite old and very noisy. The room was fine, basic but comfortable. Though no block out curtains only blinds which do let some light in first thing in the morning. Bathrooms are fine, again a bit old and the bath is very small. "Hotel was a good base, friendly staff and cleaners. Room was a good size with ironing facilities and coffee/tea and a packet of biscuits usually per day ( did have to go to reception a few times as hadnt been left enough). Pool area was clean and quiet, there had been a canopy allowing shade but this was blown down in a storm. My big problem was I had a bill at the end of my stay (was there from 30.01.24 to 28.02.24). "We had a wonderful stay. Check-in was a breeze, with Liam being so friendly and helpful, not to mention the fact that we had been upgraded! The room was gorgeous and we made good use of the bathtub. The only blemish on our stay was the fact that the Chromecast didn’t work, however that wasn’t enough to ruin the trip (by a long way). Will return!"
