"Personal at the hotel does not talk English so it's difficult to communicate. The air conditioner of the room didnt cool the room enough, it didnt go below the 21°C so on hot days it's not conveniente.
Other than that room is clean and nicely located, my stay was pretty good.

"Very close (walking distance if not raining) to the old city - allow a good day to cover it all, and this is one of the least commercialised water-towns accessible from Suzhou or Shanghai, but not much else to do there unless you're at a conference etc. that the hotel caters for. "Beautiful, Well-Managed Hotel with Solid Service
A very good experience at the Sofitel Hongqiao. The staff were kind and made a noticeable effort to be helpful, which I valued. This positive atmosphere is a clear reflection of good management and training.
The hotel's design is the real standout—the spaces are beautifully decorated, from the grand entrance to the rooms. The high-quality materials give a strong sense of luxury.
My stay was enjoyable and the environment definitely elevated my business trip into a more relaxing experience."
"Historical hotel but recently refurbished! All facilities that might be expected and a wide variety of choice for breakfast.
Situated as part of the Panmen gardens and free entry with your room key! "
"We stayed at this hotel to attend a conference as it was connected to the NECC exhibition, it was a great stsy, the room big , breakfast was excellent, many options, staff all nice&helpful, the only downside was that the hotel is far from main attraction in the city , taxis were cheap though ."
"It was so nice and service was amazing. Only complaint was that the room lighting was very dim. Hard to get good lighting in front of the mirrors and sometimes hard to see when I needed to do work"
