"We enjoyed the all inclusive package. It was a great deal! The property is beautiful, clean, the amenities amazing, the staff very accommodating and the service great! Rooms are clean. Best feature...Adults Only. It is nice to enjoy a few days without children! Natan at the Italian Bar is 5+ Stars! He makes an amazing espresso martini. Edgar in pool service, ask for him! Do not stay here without having a spa day. This is the by far one of most posh spas I have enjoyed, full body massage with a cenote indoor pool. Ask for Rosalba or Sendy, they are top notch. Best place to eat in my opinion...Ceviva, the fresh ceviche is yummy. The braised beef tacos at the steak house is delish. Finally, the music at the Speakeasy and bartenders make ending the night fun. I would definitely return! Thank you Devossion by Live Aqua staff!"

"Update 2026. Many of my previous observations are still true great food , rooms and acivities the hotel now is HUGE, has 4 more "wings" . Plenty of new restaurants . More also means diferent. Now each " department " has its responsibility, so coordinating between them all can be an issue. Services take a bit longer. And some personel aren't as "friendly" as before.... Getting reservations for restaurants and tours on an app, most are full even 30 days previous when you can start booking. When we grow , we lose intimacy. This is partially true with the hotel. Good part..... food lots of options but ....most oriented toward the Mexican style....this is a difficulty for many foreigners at the hotel, for example I saw some orientals that literally didn't eat much at all. Beef options are usually good, ribey , sirloin , new York. Seafood fresh and can be cooked to your preference. Breakfast is mexican based with a few extra options ....wafles , pancakes, Bread, bacon and sausage. Green areas and rooms are great room service takes a long time and a lot of the options are not available. Beds are super comfortable and the the pillows are spectacular. They do clean the rooms regularly, and restock the fridge with coke , diet coke , sprite, corona beer and sparkling water. Water in bottles must be asked for to room services. They do bring them , ask for the large. Hot water in shower adequate. In room or balcony hot tubs are standard, water takes 30 min"

"The resort is beautiful,recently renovated and sparkling clean.The rooms that we got were spacious and clean.This is our first resort that the air conditioning was perfect and strong and we never had a sweat during sleep.Next is the personnel,everyone is so nice respectful and hardworking.From the house keeping to bellboys to servers to pool guys and entertainers.The food is tasty plentiful and fresh.A lot of options from buffets to no reservations restaurants.My favorite was the steak house.so thank you RIU palace resort for making our stay unforgettable.we will be back that’s for sure."
