The house is in a peaceful, beautiful setting on a property shared by a couple of good-natured geese and some chickens, and having fresh eggs was a bonus. The large kitchen is well equipped and enabled us to cook a 3 course Christmas dinner for the family, which we enjoyed on the wrap-around verandah. "This is a true country gem. It is in a peaceful and tranquil countryside setting, yet still only 15 minutes from town. Plentiful wildlife including birds and roos. House was lovely and new, though no AC. Wood fired heat in living area. Kitchen was well equipped, lots of games and puzzles and even a few movies. The owner left a bunch of delicious apples for us too! "

"Excellent location, great sized property for 4 single adults. Huge bedrooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Fabulous hot water 😁. Only negatives were the garden could do with a trim and there were a lot of cobwebs on the windows/ frames. Bit creepy as I don’t like the thought of spiders darting about. Not that I saw one 🤔. Overall - very happy with the property."

"Excellent hosts, accommodation was very clean, lovely fireplace with firewood re-supplied each day. There was a beaut welcome pack of milk, butter, fresh bread, croissants, bacon and eggs. Lots of kangaroos and birds and wonderfully quiet area with easy access to Girraween NP. Highly recommend. "
