Bright, spacious and comfortable family house within walking distance of the vibrant Lake District towns of Bowness and Windermere which offer access to a large range of local pubs, shops, bars and restaurants. Windermere Lake is a mile away and there is easy access from the house onto the Dalesway as well as onto local fells which command spectacular views of the Lake and other nearby mountains/fells.
The house is suitable for 6 although one of the bedrooms has 2 double beds so could sleep up to 8 + 1 infant in a cot We are dog friendly and are happy to accommodate 1 well behaved dog (downstairs only please!)
GROUND FLOOR: The property has gas central heating throughout.
Kitchen: Spacious, sociable and well equipped modern kitchen with underfloor heating. Large breakfast bar which seats 6 (and at a push 8) . A double oven, gas hob and microwave ease the cooking, while the dishwasher takes care of the washing up. There is a large family fridge (the freezer is in the utility room). If you want to cook on your holiday there is everything you could want from waffle and toastie maker to blender, hand whisk and mixer. Looking to relax whilst someone else does the cooking? The open plan kitchen also has a good sized sitting space with 2 seater sofa + 1 easy chair. French doors open onto a patio with outdoor furniture and garden

Living Room: Wall mounted smart TV, 2 x two-seater sofas arranged around a recessed log effect gas fire providing a cosy seating area.
Dining Room/2nd lounge: Extendable dining table which can seat 6 comfortably but can accomodate 8 if necessary. Lounge area with wall mounted smart TV, 2 x two-seater sofas. A large footstool/storage box stores a selection of board games. Cupboad with games and toys
FIRST FLOOR: Bedroom 1: King Size bed with dressing room and room for a cot if required. Fabulous views over the garden and onto the fells beyond. Bathroom 1: Large ensuite bathroom including bath, separate shower, basin and W.C Bedroom 2: 2 x double beds Bedroom 3: 1 x double bed Bathroom 2: shower, basin and W.C
OUTSIDE: Mature garden with lawn and shrubs and a patio with outside seating for 6 (extra chairs are available to seat 8)
PARKING Space on the drive for 1 car with lots of space on the street for a second car. It is very safe and secure
FACILITIES: All gas, electricity, bed linen, 1 bath & hand towel pp, bath mats. We also provide dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels and starter toilet rolls. Cot and highchair available Hair dryers Wi-Fi
MISC: There are a range of walking books, maps, novels (if you start one but don't finish please take it home!) cook books and games/toys. There are also water shoes and wet suits ( only a few sizes) buoyancy aids and bicycle helmets you are welcome to borrow Check in is 3pm and check out 10am.
