"Great experience here. Facilities are great, spa fantastic, views even better, breakfast and other food options are just right. Rooms were and other interiors are clean and very well presented. Parking is by the door and easy accessed. If I’m being really picky (didn’t impact stay) - clearly making improvements so the outside had a lot of building equipment around made outside look a little scruffy and the spa area needed a bit of a tidy during the day as a bit of glassware left lying around. Overall, a great hotel and brilliant to stay. "

"Breakfast choice was excellent and beautiful presented. Staff were very friendly and courteous. Our bedroom was very comfortable ,well furnished and lovely bathroom. We know refurbishing has to be done , unfortunately we looked through the scaffolding at the lovely Lake view but staff and the delicious breakfast compensated . we will return. "

"Holly Lodge was just what we needed for an anniversary weekend away. Room and hotel were lovely, breakfast was great and we were located within a stones throw away from all local shops, cafes etc. All the team made us feel very welcome and we loved our stay. Thanks again "

"We had a lovely stay at the White Lodge Hotel. The hosts were very accommodating and when we had a few parking issues (due to the car park being quite small) the host offered lifts. In the morning we lost our car keys and the host helped search the streets for them and came to the police station to see if theyd been handed in! He offered for us to stay there as long as we needed while we sorted it. "

"The staff were lovely The public toilets were very smelly. The rooms needed tlc especially bathrooms Horrendously uncomfortable bed and pillows. Strong smell of cleaning fluid"
