Whitetail Oaks - Charming Farmhouse on 34 Private Acres w/Private Pool

An exquisite, handcrafted home, blending contemporary with warm rustic elegance, in a Hill Country setting on 34 private acres. Relax on the porch in a rocking chair, enjoy snuggling up by the the indoor fireplace, read a book while soaking in the hot tub, or just do nothing at all - this is relaxation at its best!

The open living, kitchen, and dining areas make it convenient for your family and friends to enjoy quality time no matter where they prefer to hang out. The game room was designed with both kids and adults in mind. Enjoy a night of poker around the game table, a competitive game of shuffleboard, or bust one of the good old fashioned family board games. Although the home only has 4 bedrooms, the owners very thoughtfully and strategically created a way for groups as large as 13 guests to enjoy the space together comfortably. The outdoor amenities do not disappoint offering a grill area, outdoor fire pit, and even a disk golf course. And best of all, a brand new swimming pool was just completed!

HEATING POOL: The pool can be heated from October - March. Advance notice is required if you would like to heat the pool. There is an additional charge of $150 per day to cover the propane usage/cost it incurs.

CHECK-IN/OUT TIMES: Check-in time is 4:00 pm and check-out time is 10:00 am. Luggage storage is unavailable while the home is being prepared for your arrival. We recommend making travel plans accordingly.

SELF CHECK-IN REQUIREMENTS: All reservations will be required to sign a rental agreement and provide Hills of Texas Lodging with a valid credit card to be placed on file for their stay. In lieu of charging a damage deposit or non-refundable damage waiver, a temporary hold of $500 will be placed on a credit card upon arrival for incidentals (just like they do at hotels). We are basically just verifying with your financial institution that sufficient funds are available in the event they were needed to cover property damage(s). If there are no property damages, the card will not be charged.

AGE REQUIREMENT: Everyone participating in the reservation must be over age 25 or if accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.

MAX OCCUPANCY: The maximum capacity for this home is 13 guests (including children). No visitors or day guests are allowed. Only the guests registered in this reservation are allowed onsite. If it is discovered that guests are over occupying the property, it will result in eviction.

PET POLICY: Pets are only allowed if they have been registered prior to your arrival. A maximum of 2 dogs are allowed and a pet fee of $25.00 per pet, per night will be added to the reservation after approval. Non-registered pets are strictly forbidden and will result in forfeiture of the full security deposit.

This ranch house has room for everyone. The inside is large, cosy, and beautifully decorated. The outside space is absolutely great with long porch, fire pit, outside pavilion, pool. Great place for a family or friend get- together.

What a great ranch home! Lots of beds, lots of room, every kind of entertainment corn hole, frisbe golf, pool, and hot tub ( and we did them all ) . Tranquil and quite and close to anything you may want to do or need!

My men's group stayed here for a long weekend. It was everything we were looking for: clean, spacious, lots of space outside, nice kitchen, beautiful view. The owners were very responsive to whatever questions we had. We get together every year, and this is by far the best place we've found in several years. We will definitely be back.

We loved staying here. It has great amenities and is really nice. If you cook a lot, you might think about bringing nicer pots and pans and if you will be needing spices, bring those too. (The house has a little spice rack but just remember to bring your own favs) We found the location best by using google maps vs. Apple Maps. Google maps takes you right to the house. I would definitely stay here again!

Graduation Weekend

After attending UT graduation, it was great to head to a more peaceful place for the weekend. Our group included a wide range of ages, from teens to senior citizens. The property was great for bonding time, cooking together, and an easy trip to Jacob's Well. We loved the porch and game room, and the beds were so comfortable. Great stay!

We had a wonderful time here. The home is gorgeous, cozy and was perfect for the 6 of us. Beautifully appointed, comfy beds and linens were heavenly. Bathrooms are updated. Kitchen had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were heated and so much fun to enjoy on cold days. We'll be back!

Our family absolutely loved the farmhouse! The house is decorated so cute and most importantly very clean and cozy! We loved hanging out on the porch and admiring the beautiful view. Perfect for friends getaway

The property was exactly as described. It met all the needs of 12 buddies wanting to get away from the city and burbs for a weekend. River floating, breweries, and a really cool old dive bar (devil's backbone tavern) were all very close by. My personal favorite part might have been just sitting on the porch and enjoying the country air!

The stay could not have been better. The layout is perfect for family gatherings. They thought of everything. We particularly loved the luxurious bathrooms after a day on the river. There was so much to do on property that we would not have had to leave all weekend. I loved the property and will stay again if I’m ever in the area and need accommodations for a large party. The property manager was very responsive in advance of the stay.
