"This is a unique and special place to stay. We are here with two children, it's a beautifully designed room with a double sink, 2 queen beds, a large shower. They even gave the kids smores kits when we checked in! There are views of the ocean and it's quiet. If you don't bring your own food you'll want to head to downtown Mendocino for meals, which is close by."

"My fiancée and I adored this property! Its just 5 minutes or so from town, quite and tranquil. Rennie and Hope were lovely, provided us with filtered water, coffee/tea and had an ADORABLE microwave/mini fridge set up. Mosquitoes are totally normal but also suck. We had bug repellent and there was a repellent coil on the back porch so it didnt bug us much. 10/10 will absolutely return! Thank you so so much!"

"VRBO showcased the home and land accurately. The view was outstanding and home area was very quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed the deck with patio and fire pit overlooking the ocean bluff. The kitchenette was perfect for us since we went to our favorite restaurants in the area. Our 2 dogs loved the grassy area in front of home. Perfect rusty retreat!"

"It would be hard to rate anything poorly with a view like this home has. However, you won’t find any complaints with the property either. The home has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and wonderful stay. The home was likely the cleanest VRBO we’ve stayed. "Stay here if you are fans of amazing ocean views and sunsets. We are, and we were rewarded with phenomenal ones. The house is well stocked with comfortable furniture, beds, good showers and good WiFi. Lots of good seating areas inside and out. Excellent hot tub. Not as close to Mendocino as I’d hoped-around 30 minutes of winding, but gorgeous coastal road. Not much in Elk, esp during the week. Seamus is a great host who made everything easy for us."

"Surrounded by a redwood forest, this cabin doesn't get a lot of sunshine. The drive to it was very beautiful in May. Wildflowers everywhere until you get to the cabin. The cabin itself was fairly nice with an updated kitchen that had everything we needed and more, including food in the fridge. Hmm? Ours or theirs? The main bathroom was also updated and nice. "Breathtaking views in your own private Nirvana. The deck and Adirondack chairs was thee coolest hangout spot. The house looks as if it were just built. The kitchen was well equipped for gourmet cooking. The beds were oh so comfortable. The location was in the mix of grocery stores and great restaurants. Beautiful and blissful. We will be back!"
