Lisa is an amazing host, very kind and very easy to contact. House is amazing and perfectly located in Mendocino. Access to Mendo Cliff Trails is literally across the street. House is a 3 minute walk from all the great stores, restaurants, and other attractions. My wife and I had as amazing trip and we will be back....Thx Lisa, you're awesome!

Best view in Mendocino

This is our second time at the Penthouse, and it just a lovely property. It is on Main Street, on the second (and third) floors of a building near the entrance to the Mendocino headlands. The deck and front windows overlook Mendocino Bay and the views are gorgeous at any time, in any weather. The kitchen is fully stocked, the beds are comfortable, there is a fun music room / library / Tv room upstairs, there is plenty of space for a larger group though we are only two. The property manager, Lisa, is so helpful and very responsive. We loved our stay and hope to return!

This was my second time staying at the Penthouse! Absolute best view, location and so cozy and comfortable! Clean, fully set up kitchen. Spacious rooms and comfortable beds. Lisa is a perfect host and very communicative if questions arise. Cannot wait to go back again.

Fun in the Village!

Fabulous Stay! So much fun staying in the Village!!! Excellent property with super easy access to shop Mendocino & Fort Bragg, tidepools, beach activities, history, wine tasting, best clam chowder at Sea Pal Cove at Noyo Harbor... Everything! Really enjoyed the Trumpeter on the headland so cool!

Penthouse paradise!

We felt warmly welcomed by Lisa even before we arrived. And her warm welcome continued after (the easy and remote) check-in. The home is lovely - a perfect place to relax and enjoy the amazing views. The location is just wonderful for beach access, nature and town walks, dining and shopping. The entire experience was superb and we will definitely return.

The best vacation rental in Mendocino!

This is a fantastic place to stay in Mendocino Village. It has incredible views, the perfect location, a great layout, and plenty of books and games to pass the time -- and it's pet-friendly! We also appreciated how clean the unit was. It's nice to see that the owners really care about providing a first-rate experience. We'll definitely be back!

One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in!

My partner, myself, and our baby dog stayed for 3 nights at the Penthouse and it was simply perfect. We had asked for a slightly early check in, and without us even texting to remind them that day, Lisa texted with an update and the earlier time. The place was immaculate, and you could not ask for a better view or location. We cannot wait to come back and enjoy the Penthouse again. We loved it so much!

Best view in Mendocino

We had a wonderful time! Our place was spacious and well equipped. In fact we made a full french toast breakfast for seven one morning and had plenty of space. The view from our balcony was amazing as was our host Lisa, who was very helpful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed for our family event.

Mendo Anniversary Trip

My husband and I hadn’t been to the village in over 5 years. Great to be there again. The Penthouse is exactly as advertised! Very comfortable and has everything you need. Not sure what it would be like staying there during the busy season right there on the main street, but our experience was very quiet and low key, which is what we wanted.

Another Amazing Stay on Main Street

This property is so well and thoughtfully maintained, that it's a pleasure to repeat stays. The kitchen is beyond well stocked that it's as good as being at home. Everything is so clean. Not just the main areas, but the nooks and crannies too. The dishes look like they're ALL washed between guests. Not a spec of dust. The downstairs beds are very comfortable and warm. You really can't beat the location and view.

My husband and I love staying here (our 2nd time). It's a beautifully decorated, clean and well-stocked property. It's in the best location, right in downtown Mendocino, with easy access to all the shops. The best part is the large, wraparound deck with views of the headlands and ocean. We spent most of our time on the deck. It's also easy to hike around and even go down to a small, but quiet beach. The owner is very accommodating and wants the guests to have fun. We'll definitely be back again, along with our two small dogs!

THE BEST!

My husband and I stayed at this property for 3 nights to escape our small children and celebrate our marriage. We stayed in three different rentals throughout the week and this one was by far superior to the rest. The decor is so beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. The beds were very comfortable. We especially enjoyed the upstairs library filled with books, movies, and 2 acoustic guitars. Mendocino in general is such a charming town with delicious food and a really laid back vibe. The views from this property cannot be beat and the host Lisa was very accessible. Don't think twice and book this property. It's worth every penny!
