"Only issue is there’s never someone at the desk. For checking in you have to call a number then waited 5-10 mins no one showed so I left and came back. Then check out nobody’s there so you another customer and I just left the keys on the desk. Shower mirror has writings on it so when you get out of shower it says “I see you”. I guess it could be worse but after driving 5 hrs this isn’t something I want to deal with."

"The cabin was clean and very comfortable, and the staff was kind and patient (being tired after a long day on the road and a little absent minded I immediately locked my key in the room lol). The only glitch was that the hot tub was inoperative at first, but they sent someone down right away to fix it. We were looking forward to jumping in after our long day on the road, and so we had to wait quite a while for it to heat up enough to use, but at least we did get to use it and it was lovely. The restaurant was absolutely outstanding. The food was very good and the entertainment was as well."

"Breath taking view! The property was as described and certainly more than we needed but I would not trade the relaxing experience for anything. Well equipped for our late arrival with no coffee on hand. Be sure to check out the nearby restaurants. One for breakfast and the other for afternoon dining. Our pup enjoyed long walks through the Blue Ridge and gazing off the deck at tubers floating down the Taccoa. There’s a dog park at the bottom of Aska Road to run off his ball tossing needs and one in town where you can enjoy a cold drink.By day four we had planned to request an extended stay but with rain in the forecast we opted to head south. A week later I’m sort of regretting not enjoying a few more days even if it rained.We will be back!"

"This home was absolutely amazing—peaceful, relaxing, and impeccably maintained. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, and it's the little touches that truly make this place special. From providing birdseed and corn to attract the deer to having extra amenities available for guests traveling with their dogs, Bob and Ann have gone above and beyond to create a welcoming experience.The river was beautiful, and we even enjoyed a little fly fishing during our stay. Everything about this property made it the perfect getaway. Bob and Ann have created something truly special, and we are so grateful they shared their home with us. We can't wait to return!"

Toccoa Riverside Cabin: Pet-Friendly, Hot Tub, Firepit & Prime Fishing Retreat

"The cabin is exactly as described and very clean. The kitchen was stocked with nice quality cookware, utensils, etc. (vs most rentals are garage sale leftovers) making even cooking enjoyable. The beds are like soft cozy marshmallows giving you the best sleep. The view is perfect both inside and outside. We witnessed so much wildlife (even saw a fox) and simply enjoyed hearing all the birds making it a serenity paradise. We tried our luck at fishing and unfortunately either we are not skilled or the fish weren't biting between the rain/dam opening. Sure was fun trying though. It rained a lot while we were there and to be honest it didn't damper anything since the view from inside the cabin is excellent and you always have the screen porch to enjoy outside as well. Definitely an excellent cabin to rent if you are looking to get away, relax, unwind and enjoy see some scenery."

"Perfect mountain getaway for Mother/Daughter weekend. Excellent and quick communication with property owner, Abby. Property was clean and comfortable and we felt safe. Many attractions and fun communities a short drive away. Abby asked for details about our trip plans and provided equipment to enhance our experience. And the most thoughtful thing of all…I shared it was a special birthday weekend and Abby had birthday decorations, a sweet card and gift waiting when we got to the cabin. Wonderful experience!!!"
