"This was my second stay at this hotel whilst on business with a colleague. The location is great, food was very nice and general service was good - I stayed in room 9 (colleague in room 12) and whilst I appreciate that it was cold/snowing outside the bedroom was very cold. I am a hot sleeper so this is never usually an issue but after trying to turn the radiators on full I ended up resorting to warming the room with the hair dryer! At breakfast my colleague had the same issue and put extra...

"Met up with a friend and stayed in a twin room which, while being dated, was comfortable. Bedding and curtains obviously newly replaced. Shower was hot. Complimentary toiletries were a bit sad - make sure you bring your own. The lift was out of order and the stairs were narrow and steep to the second floor. The pool was nice and we spent time there relaxing. We ate in the bar. Food was tasty and hot. Staff were all very pleasant and service was good. We got a good deal but I wouldn’t pay more."

"My stay was very much a game of 2 halves. Check in was surprisingly straightforward, from the e-mails I received prior to checking in it sounded like it was going to be a faff and as I was driving towards Rhayder I was regretting my booking and wishing I’d booked somewhere else. As it turns out it was easy , I checked in at the Crown which is literally a stones throw from Ty Morgans, I have walked across hotel car parks further to reach check before.
