Lovely spacious room in a very nice farmhouse. Although off the beaten track, Upper Buckton B&B was easy to find and offered a peaceful nights sleep. The hosts were friendly and helpful and the breakfast, cooked to order was superb.
The hosts are helpful and friendly. The room was very comfortable, with a great view, and a private bathroom close by. There was a kettle in the room, with tea, coffee, fresh milk and drinking water. The dining room is quite grand, with another excellent view. We could help ourselves to fruit, juice and yogurt, the bread had just been made, and the cooked part of the breakfast was also excellent. Parking is next to the house, well away from the road. We will be back if we stay in the area again.
Lovely location. Good parking for car. Big house near farms. Host welcoming. The breakfast was good and room very comfortable. The only downside was the smell of damp dog that permeated throughout the house. We kept the bedroom windows opened all the time.
Property set in wonderful location, with lovely walks and views. Hosts very welcoming, nothing too much trouble and made for a lovely relaxing time. Would thoroughly recommend a stay.
Excellent quiet location in beautiful surroundings. Secluded yet only a short distance from the village of Leintwardine, which has a pub, a filling station and a shop (all of them good). Warm welcome, friendly hosts, good breakfast. Perfect for hikes and excursions.
A wonderful stay...such friendly, helpful hosts, nothing too much trouble. Lovely setting, and furnishing etc. Breakfast was scrummy!
Highly recommend. Thank you
The house is set in the most beautifyl surroundings, with breath taking views. Both Jonathan and Mary were extremely friendly and helpful. Gorgeous place to stay. I would highly recommend!
Kind, pleasant hosts who made us feel at home; marked attention to small details. Note - stairs are steep and may cause problems for people with limited mobility
Great views and a warm and welcoming host. The owner, having recently acquired the house has upgraded and renewed the decor and facilities. Following an excellent breakfast, we wish we had had more time to stay. We will be back again!!
Excellent in every level tranquillity, charming views, the place itself is amazing, truly beautiful and the hosts, unparalleled helpful and welcoming,,not to be missed, we will be back soon. Carlos and alison.
Very nice folk, we got lost and were going to be late arriving but a quick phone call to Johnathon and all was resolved. Great breakfast with fresh eggs laid on the farm and home made bread. Really quiet and the views are terrific.
Quiet and comfortable stay away from the day to day hustle and bustle. Fantastic host with ideal level of engagement, customer service and breakfast making skills. Property is a couple of hundred years old but has been modernised, is clean and tidy and our rooms were extremely spacious.
It is located a little off the beaten track however, the peace and stillness was exactly what we wanted and you are not far from civilization.
Great B&B for quiet and relax escape or a base to use for walking and exploring the south shropshire hills...
Highly recommened, you wont be disappointed.
