"Lovely staff were available when we could only check in late and kindly upgraded our room too, then looked after us in the morning with the continental breakfast. A great place to stay in the area!"

"Very nice cottage with beautiful gardens. The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure was great. The owner provided tea, coffee and milk, which was a very nice touch as we arrived very late. Would definitely stay again."

"The local church is lovely and worth a visit. Good walks on Offa's Dyke's path. The property would suit a book fanatic as the place is full of expensive first edition copies and cobwebs! Barking dogs at night from a nearby property kept us awake. Otherwise ok. "

"We had a lovely relaxing weekend break. Such a beautiful and peaceful location. Chris and Tracey were very warm and welcoming. The cake was a nice surprise. We took our dog, and he really enjoyed himself. The rooms are all large so plenty of room for him to lie down, and we had the use of a field to walk him in. "

"Fantastic, helpful staff - well tested, when we arrived a day early by mistake , but smoothed over in an instant .
If you are in town for books - you could not have a better location, easy to dash back with your bibliophile hauls ."
"Downstairs kitchen for any resident to use - kettle, coffees and teas in the room. Easy checkin, clean room, basic but efficient and a great location to visit local sites. "
"Nice young lady showed us to our room which was nice. Only thing needed was a chair ( there was a stool. All areas clean. Good shower . Asked if we wanted to book a table for dinner, yes, done. Lovely little dining room. Food was good. Big telly ( eyesight not good so beneficial for me) , plug sockets both sides of the bed. Good hospitality tray. Comfy bed. Bar was open until late but our room was quiet. Nice atmosphere in bar. Good welcome for breakfast, efficient and friendly service. Times for breakfast & checkout were good. Didn't pay anything until we checked out. No pressure, relaxed. Wed definitely go there again. "
