"Unfortunately it was a cold and wet day when we arrived. After climbing a very narrow winding staircase to our apartment - some 40 or so steps - it was disappointing to find that the rooms were very cold as no heating had been switched on in anticipation of our arrival. After switching on the underfloor heating it did begin to warm up, but to add to the frustration this did not appear to work in the main bedroom or the ‘en suite’. A free standing electric heater was provided but wasn’t easy...

"Room 2 was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Beds very comfortable. Shower was small. Refrigerator in room. House was quiet but rooms on ground floor would hear guests going in and out. It's 15 minute walk from train station and uphill so if lots of luggage, take a cab. Residential area so nothing close for breakfast. Owners might consider adding yogurt and scones."
