"Nice lodge in the mountains, surrounded by birds and trees, but close to downtown Asheville and the Biltmore estate. Owner Randy is a kind, friendly and knowledgeable host with a lovely staff. Very quiet and relaxing, full breakfast included. We’ll be back!"

"This is a very nice place. The breakfast was wonderful, the room and bathroom were perfect for me being confined to a wheelchair. Very convenient to all parts of Asheville and surrounding areas. My husband and I highly recommend. "

"I rarely leave reviews, but this place deserves it. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property is stunning peaceful, beautifully designed, and full of charm. Our room was spotless, well-appointed, and had thoughtful little touches that made it feel special.
We were here for a friend’s wedding, and it was absolutely magical. The setting was unforgettable, and every detail was handled flawlessly. The food was top-notch, the staff were friendly and professional, and you could tell the team genuinely cared about making everything perfect.
One of my favorite moments was sitting by the fire after the event, enjoying the mountain air and watching the stars with a glass of wine. It felt like something out of a movie.
I had no idea what to expect when I booked, and honestly, I never saw any of the negative reviews some people mentioned. My experience was nothing like that if anything, it went way above and beyond. I even got to meet the owners and the actual SKYLARANNA herself, which made it all the more memorable.
Highly recommend I’ll definitely be back!"

"A lovely home on a quiet cul-de-sac that was perfect for our family visit to a friend’s wedding in Mills River. The magical garden in the back elevates the property to something truly special! Do note that laundry facilities aren’t provided, even though the listing makes it seem like they are. "

It was spotless, well-stocked with everything we could have needed, and only a short 10-minute drive to restaurants, shopping, and stores. The style and décor were perfect, the bedding was very comfortable, and the hot tub was the perfect way to relax after a day out. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I’ve already saved this listing for future trips to Asheville and will definitely be recommending it to friends. One of the best VRBOs we’ve ever stayed in!"
