"I'm a female, traveling alone. I arrived after dark. I was given a room in the back of the motel, and there were a lot of men just hanging out by their cars and smoking, etc. when I pulled up to my room. I didn't feel safe. Once in my room, I was afraid to come back out. You could tell the place wasn't full. Why they wouldn't plan room assignments a little better or not allow all the men to just hang outside is troublesome. I won't return, despite the convenience of parking there for airport shuttle service. I will find alternative arrangments. "

"We enjoyed our girls weekend at Skylaranna, we would have enjoyed the bar or restaurant being open after our drive up but unfortunately it was not yet open for the season. I see so much potential for this beautiful property and can't wait to see how it evolves! The staff was lovely and welcoming and the spa was superior in all ways. We will definitely return."

"The host was very welcoming and checked on us several times during our stay. One thing that stood out— the propane tank was empty, we asked our host and they sincerely apologized and refunded us for taking care of the propane refill. We really enjoyed the large hot tub and huge shower in the master bathroom. We recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area. "

"We could not regulate the heat on the main floor, one bedroom was very hot the adjacent bedroom was 20 degrees colder, all controlled by one thermostat.Anna was very responsive and fixed the plumbing problem the first day.The house other than above was very nice."
