"Staff was very friendly and helpful with any and all inquiries. Room was clean daily 90% of the days. The other 10% was dealt with immediately by the front desk by if necessary. Disappointed that we reserved 2 rooms and were not put side by side even with notes put in the file upon booking Good thing about Truro is the town is in the middle of almost anywhere you want to visit"

"My family and I stayed in a family suite for a night and it was great. The room was clean and quiet. VG, the new owner, was attentive to all our needs and was very accommodating. The breakfast was very good. The pool was warm and clean. If we come through the area again we will definitely stay at the motel again."

"We had a great stay at the Tidal Bore Inn. The owners were extremely kind and hospitable during check-in and later when helping us after we had accidentally locked ourselves out of our room. The location is very convenient as is located right off of the highway and close to several stores and fast food restaurants. I will note that the outlets in our upper level room were located quite far from the bed, so I would suggest to bring a long charging cord if you prefer to charge your phone/devices beside the bed."

"If I can give 15/10 I'll give 20/10. Everything was excellent, great location great interior and outdoor environment. You can see seals, hermit crabs and mussels at the private beach access. Saw a family of black bears and a white tailed deer crossing the road on the way driving there around 17:00 P.M. This is my first time staying at a rural cottage and it was a fabulous experience. My family loved it so much!"

"The only other places I can remember staying that I enjoyed nearly as much were Fairmonts. Beautifully appointed, soothing little cabin - the hot tub is fantastic, but for me the hammock next to the brook was even better. You almost certainly won't have cell reception at least inside the cabin - as far as I'm concerned, that's a huge selling point as well! Can't wait to come back!"

"All was fine.It was well stocked except for kleenex tissue.The dishes were very few.The scenery was beautiful.The bed was very comfortable. The air conditioner worked very well and was great to have. It was well equipped for our little doggie."
