"It has to be said that the house and grounds are superb and Met my desire to have my friend wake up on her 80th birthday in palatial surroundings. However I have just been informed at the end of breakfast that it is not included in my Expedia booking! There is no warning of that whatsoever and I think that it is deceitful and deceptive. "

"The description of the Nuffield Health facility as a spa is somewhat misleading - it’s a sports club with a pool used for (noisy) swimming lessons, there is nothing relaxing about it as there are just 3 “beds” to sit on around the pool, and members make an issue of anyone having left a towel on there for just a few minutes (rudely removing it and taking the bed for their own use)."

"Convenient for London trains, breakfast varied enough, easy parking and staff very pleasant."

"Convenient hotel."

"Nice hotel, good facilities and so close to the airport worth it for that!"

"The hotel was located within walking distance from the airport so perfect for an early morning flight. It was clean and exactly as you would expect!"

"Clean hotel, helpful staff and great breakfast."

"Lovely nights stay, great hotel and very central location."

"Well located for an overnight from a flight and then out the next day"

"Good value for money"

"AMAZING EXPERIENCE WHICH IS UNFORGETTABLE."

"Room was clean but whole floor smelt of cigarette smoke. It’s a shame because the rooms are letting down the hotel as the rest of the hotel is very nice and it could be a top spot to visit. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the grounds were stunning! Food was also great but more on the expensive side. I had the burger on the menu (£18) it did come with chips and was tasty! Good place to stay if you want a short stay but it could do with some TLC"
