"Excellent room for a first time trip to Waterton"

"Should be 5 stars 100% but we were there at the start of May when it was just opening for the season. My only problem is there was very little selection in the restaurant at dinner time. It was either a predetermined 4 course meal, with good options, or the pub menu. Everything else was amazing from the room to the staff. I will stay here again during the "on" season."

"Our cabin had some cooking items Was a good size but bathroom very small This was updated with a new shower which you pull down the faucet we did not know how it worked until maintenance showed us Needs a little TLC "

"The gentleman at the front desk did not seem very happy to be doing his job. Was handed the key and told to have a good stay. Was told where our room was and where we could park only after having to ask thr clerk. After checking in and settling into our, I called the front desk asking for information on where to get ice. The same clerk said I could come to the restaurant to get some as the ice machine was broken. When I went to get ice I was only given enough ice for maybe two drinks. The clerk said the ice for the restaurant and was unable to give me more as I was not a paying customer of the restaurant. I told the clerk that was not fair or right. I should have been told at check in that if I needed ice that would be something the guest would need to go and buy. In the morning we phoned the front desk asking a noon check out. Was told by the same clerk "we need the room later." I wasnt asking for another full day, I was asking one extra hour. We were only given 30 additional minutes. Overall if there was a different clerk scheduled the experience would have been better."

"We booked this for our annual family Thanksgiving trip to the mountains for some hiking. It was a lovely place that was nice and close to Waterton, was spacious for our family and had some great views. We managed to get two seasons of weather in two days!"

"We never tired of the view of Payne Lake and the mts.Clean and well equipped but having luggage racks in the bedrooms would have been nice.Beds were comfortable. Lots of room for the 3 of us."
