"I was in room 109 on the first floor and periodically all night Saturday night it sounded like elephants playing basketball directly above my room. Not voices, not tv just loud thumping. I would get back to sleep for an hour or so and it would start again. Friday was kind of scary with the tornado sirens but we can't control Mother Nature. I will be back! "

"Right off the expressway Very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice lobby, with bar, restaurant, and plenty of seating"

"The hotel was pretty run down and wasn’t kept in good shape - one of the beds would lean if you laid on the wrong half, the shower barely drained, there was a hole in the bathroom door, and the hotel strongly smelled of weed. The common areas were also very messy, with debris and even cigarette butts laying on the carpet"

"The room was very clean, great variety for breakfast, lady at the desk was very efficient. A little issue with parking only because work crews had their trucks and equipment there and they took up a lot of the parking spots. Would be very nice if they could lower the price."

"We spent only one night at Ruby. Wanted to extend our stay but weren’t able to because of plans the next day. I will be returning to Madison next week and will def stay again. Staff is exceptional. Ambience of the hotel is so warming, inviting and relaxing. We felt as though we stepped back in time for the evening. Very clean, extremely clean. We had to leave at 0600 so didnt get to enjoy the breakfast. The long narrow hallways added to the historic charm. While roaming around exploring all little coves and sitting areas, I felt like we would encounter a tall thin man with a top hat and 3 piece suit relaxing with a cup of tea. Cant say enough abt the beauty of building."
