The staff was really knowledgeable, friendly, especially Olivia. What I didn't like was having to ask for the coffee machine as well as I had to ask for more sugar and cream as opposed to it being refilled the following day. I didn't like that fact I took the washcloth with me out and about (because of the heat) my bathroom was not replaced with another clean wash cloth that day however the following day I did not take the wash cloth with me and then and only then was the room replaced with a clean wash cloth. I think that was pretty petty. I guess that count wash cloths. I felt like the parking is a scam. I paid for parking $35 per day but, not able to come and go as I please on the weekend they closed the garage at noon so, if your out your ASS out but, I could pay $68 for VALET hotel parking with the hotel which is what I had to do my last day there because of this crazy rule and a "miscommunication."

One of my gripes with innercity hotels, which The Madison was not exempt of, is the parking situation. With that being said, there were plenty of parking options nearby and the hotel is far enough out of the core tourism activity to allow you to maneuver while being close enough to enjoy the interactions. Likewise, if you like night life it is not a far walk to the clubs in the evening. My room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I had multiple interactions with staff and all were pleasant.

Good location; quiet, elevators were fast but interior dated, had to ask for refills in coffee three out of four mornings, TV guide was hard to pull up, new washcloths and towels not forthcoming although requested daily room service, never could guess whether doorman was going to open door or not - I would point to other hotels first
