"We chose The Tangerine for our Universal Studios trip and were very happy with the location. It’s about a $10 rideshare away from the park entrance. The hotel has a retro, laid-back motel vibe that feels very safe and quiet compared to the rest of the city. The rooms are on the smaller side and the AC is a bit loud, but the bed was super comfy. The service is what truly stands out—the staff is so friendly and even included our stuffed animal in the turndown service! We also enjoyed the free morning pastries and coffee. Having Jinya Ramen Bar right next door was a huge plus for dinner. We would definitely stay here again for the hospitality and convenience!"

"This hotel was dilapidated and sketchy. Our room was musty, window sheers were literally shredded and tied up all over the place, gross old cobwebs outside on our windows and my daughter and I both woke up with swollen puffy eyes ostensibly from mold or allergens in the room or ac vents. We also chose the hotel partially for laundry facilities as we were attending a local horse show and assumed we would need them and when we asked were told they actually weren’t on site…they were at a sister property across the street. We clearly were not going to go sit with our laundry across the street for an hour and a half. When I showed the pictures of the shears to our desk agent, she conjecture that maybe that had just been done by the previous guest. We left when returning from our commitments the second day and when we emailed management were told that they would refund us for only the one night because we had stayed two which of course we had not. Abysmal property. We spent the following two nights at a lovely hotel with the same rate that was a palace in comparison. Photos attached."

"The biggest issue I had was the water in the room don’t work correctly. I notified the front desk and they sent someone to fix it, but it wasn’t fixed. The shower would turn completely off while I was in it. The sink faucet wouldn’t release water when you turned the nozzle on. The toilet wouldn’t flush everytime you tried to flush it. They definitely need to do something about their plumbing. "

"The room was clean and comfortable for one night. The front desk door was locked at 3pm and had to use a side window to check in. The lady could not find my reservation and seemed confused but in the end she gave me my room. It was a basic motel and overpriced for what it is but I needed a place close to Burbank airport last minute so it worked. "
