"A lovely hotel with attached leisure facilities. A beautiful, peaceful setting next to a river. A former mill with an interesting history and a motor museum within easy walking distance. Room was spacious and clean and staff were very helpful and friendly. Both breakfast and evening meal were very good. Restaurant and bar staff were very attentive. We went in the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, all a very high standard. An excellent stay in an idyllic setting. Would highly recommend this hotel"

My only thing I can fault was the fact we booked it as it has a lift as my mum is elderly unfortunately the lift was broken so we had to walk 3 floors each time we left our room. Other than that it was a nice relaxing place the bar and food were top notch. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in town. The plus was it had it's own carpark across the road."
