"The room was clean had extra pillows and also the cleaners did good job the gentleman who check us in was 10/10 smooth service from start to finish we only stayed one night and checked out 11 am i have to say to food service from all staff was fantastic they went above and beyond for all customers I will book this hotel again I traveled more than 4 hours from Great Harwood BB6 and was thrilled to be there even if it was for one night"

"Wonderful stay here, the rooms are immaculate, tastefully and elegantly decorated with thoughtful touches such as discrete low level sensor operated lighting in the en-suite, meaning no one has to turn a bright light on to use the loo in the night! Every possible need was covered in the well equipped rooms, including gorgeous luxury soap and shower products provided. Excellent hospitality and food from the warm welcome from the manager on arrival to the incredible flavours created by chef Ramesh. Coeliac customers well catered for with a number of excellent gluten free options. The pub and restaurant share a number of lovely dining areas which combine old world character with elegant decor and upholstery, making for a very relaxing and comfortable, warm ambience. It’s just as a coaching inn should be! Breakfast was first rate too, and plenty of on site parking and a pretty village and area to explore with good walking from the door too - we can’t commend this hotel highly enough."

"The room was lovely and bed supper comfy but then that would be expected as the room was expensive for what it was. Some biscuits with tea and coffee would have been nice. The toilet paper was very cheap quality which surprised me. Shower was fabulous and a good size. Tv was great quality and massive too. I hand the breakfast which was …’ok’ not bad but again quality was not great. Hash browns were not great at all a lacked flavour, texture and were like overcooked deep fried triangles of mash potato. Sausage were very very cheap and not really cooked very well. I could not believe (and was disappointed by) the fact they did not have any marmalade or raspberry jam. Coffee was great and the staff were very friendly too. A variety of teas would have been good. Alternative milk options seemed to not be an available either. I think a look at who supplies the food would be a good idea as it let the experience down rather."

"Excellent value and wonderful staff. We had 2 double rooms, bed, breakfast and evening meal for £180. The staff are incredibly helpful. Rooms and the hotel itself are quite dated but you can’t fault it."

"I understand this is budget. But the room was so small it felt claustrophobic, we paid for a room with a window but couldn’t open it. The aircon didn’t work and staff didn’t help just said everyone’s having a problem it should work in a house….it didn’t for 2 days and with no window to open it was horrible. Bathroom glass door makes so much noise when closed and as room so small it’s right next to your ear. Zero amenities and not one shelf to put any luggage or clothes. Wouldn’t do it again almost slept in my car one night. Parking is 15 a night but nowhere did it say that on my booking and there was no answer from my message or calls to the hotel."

"The room was clean and delightfully cool. The lack of overhead light at night was irritating. Checking in was a nightmare. Being older we struggled with the online check in. However, young families were struggling too. Despite help there were not enough people available to ensure ease of registration. Breakfast good. We were charged for parking. This, despite it clearly stating no cost at the weekend on the website and the in room Village news. This is illegal. I was refused refund. Overall a good hotel for young families not for the elderly."
