"Our room was great, it was good having a kitchenette, washing machine and dryer. Check in and out was quick and easy and staff we friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our walks up and around Mount Maunganui, along the board walk and into town. the thermal pools are definitely worth a visit. Enjoyed 2 beautiful meals one at the Olive and Fig restaurant and the other at Dui’s Thai restaurant….delicious Wished we had more time, will definitely go back."

"Lovely comfy beds, nice furniture in lounge. We didn't use the cooking facilities at all, but plenty of equipment there. Couple of things could be improved - we noticed the coffee cups were very stained - just need a good scrub inside. Also the shower doors in the room we were in need attention - there is a big gap when doors should be closed. The drier has also left a lot of fluff over the ceiling which isn't a good look. Parking was good, though a bit tight for a larger car between two poles. "

"We all thought 1st impression it was a very cute house. Very tidy and had everything provided for you. The host was very nice and just a phone call away. One thing that was mentioned was the number of the house wasnt visible for a taxi to know which house it was to pick us up at. Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would tell friends of this cottage if they need to stay in Waihi."
