"The place was very clean, comfortable and well maintained. Great location on the main highway but set back far enough so the road noise wasn’t an issue. Only stayed one night as we were passing through but would definitely stay again."
Girdwood ski cabin. Wild Iris Chalet .5 miles from daylodge.
8/10 Good
"The place was very cute and comfortable They had all the amenities we needed, including nice extras like movies, games and books. The place would not be good for anyone who was at all mobility challenged because the entrance is off a very narrow open porch, outdoor stairs were slippery without rails, and one bed is up a steep wall ladder. The place was quite clean except for a coffee pot with old grounds in it. We were suspicious our bed did not have fresh sheets on it. No check out procedures could be found nor were there house rules posted. We did not meet staff or a host. "

10/10 Excellent
"When we signed up for this location, we did not figure out we would just be in the basement. That said, the apartment they made for us worked out great for us.When we arrived at 10PM and found out we needed to get carry our heavy bags down steep stairs. I called host Gary and he popped out of the house and carried them down for us! He even set his alarm on our leaving day at 5:15 am to help carry them back up to the car for us. That made this location totally accessible for us.We were in Alaska for 10 days. This location was our last two nights. I got the best sleep of the trip here. The road to get up the hill to this house is a dirt road but even in the rain, we did not have any issues getting up there. The view was awesome. Thanks Gary for all your help. Kathy"
"The unit is well located. It’s away from center of town and yet convenient to it so it’s more peaceful and quiet. The unit is well equipped so it would be easy to cook a good meal here if you wanted to. We didn’t as we found good eats in town. Host is super responsive and helpful."
