"We were left at the train station for an hour and half. The guy never even apologized. Wouldn't even look me in the eye. We were in room 140 it was gross, stunk, mold on walls, no buttons on the phone, no shower curtain, paint on door knobs, the entire bottom half of the bathroom door was scratched up like from a dog, smelled like pot in hall, extension cords running down the inside of the gutter down spout. The only amenities was 1 bar of soap. 2 of the towels were used and dirty hanging on the towel holder. Oh the dumpster was overflowing with what looked like food. Just outside was an old fridge with food and clothing in it like for a homeless person. Trash all over the ground, siding falling off too. This was a complete disappointment having the Wyndham name and price tag on it. Gross."
"The views are spectacular, and the weather was wonderful. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The staff were friendly and made some great suggestions on places to eat and sight see. Parking isn't always available up by the property, so take a rain coat for the walk to the property, if you choose not to pay for valet parking. The tram is a lot of fun up the mountain, and the Bore Tide Deli & Bar served good food up there as well. They have a neat little gift shop up there. I wouldn't recommend the Asian dining experience at the hotel. Those making the food were not very sanitary. They wiped their hands on old aprons, touched pens, receipts, their glasses and face, then made the sushi and dishes without gloves or without washing their hands. The beds are not that comfortable. The temperature in the room is not adjustable, which can be a little frustrating, but overall it was a good experience. A little ways down from the property they have a nice ice cream shop, and a gift shop called the Tourist Trap."
"Heaven in Anchorage. We walked in and it was like family welcoming us home. It is a beautiful home, lovely thoughtful details throughout all the guest areas — tea waiting, inviting fireplace, comfortable beds, well lit, beautiful rooms and lovely breakfasts in the great room — and friendly owners who want to make sure you have everything you might need. This is a lovely place to rest and come back to, we can’t wait to visit again. Can’t recommend this highly enough!"
"There were no staff on site at all, they give you all the information by email, nearly all the guests said they struggled with the keycode doors while I was there, otherwise it is a lovely little hotel"

"This was our 2nd time staying at Alison’s place. Everything was just as perfect as the 1st time we stayed there. Very clean, quiet and close to everything! Alison is amazing and will help you with anything you may need! She’s always booked so you must plan ahead if you want to stay there! Great pricing, comfy bed and living space and in a quiet part of town. We love staying there and if we ever return to Alaska, will definitely stay again! Thanks for everything Alison! You’re the best!!"
