"Just an amazing gem, the property itself is an amazing estate with great staff and food - with the feel of a small boutique manor, it offers a nice luxurious retreat at a reasonable price, it was the highlight stay of our 16 day trip around the UK."
"We loved Riber View!
Positives: comfy beds, clean throughout, nice sofas, sun trap garden, dog friendly, great view.
No real negatives for us.
Will definitely stay again."
"This was a very nice place to stay. I enjoyed the closed in patio area and the breakfast was very delicious. The rooms were neat and the area was safe and quiet."
"Beeley is a lovely inn in a picturesque village. Great location for Chatsworth and beyond. Staff was friendly and the room was clean and had all the amenities needed and more. Breakfast was very good. "
"Really nice place to stay aesthetically and all other reasons really. Friendly staff, nice room and lovely breakfast too. Will definately be staying here again. "
"The staff at The Bear Inn are terrific: it’s a family-run business and nothing was too much trouble. You soon will get to know everyone’s name a they will remember yours; it’s the little things that set a small country Inn apart from the bigger and soulless enterprises. Check-in was easy and, although we originally planned to stay for a couple of days, we were made so welcome, decided to stay for two more. Our day always started with an excellent and leisurely breakfast which really set us up...
"We had lovely hosts! The breakfast was delicious and we could've only wished to have stayed longer!
The airline forgot our luggage and our hosts were most kind and helpful while getting things settled for the airline to deliver our bag.
The place was warm and inviting, and was well kept! Next door was a pub with delicious food as well and very convenient. We could not recommend this place enough!"

"The staff were fabulous from first greeting, everyone was so friendly and helpful. I stayed for 3 nights, room was excellent, clean and with good amenities. Food quality of breakfast and dinner was first class, good choice and cooked to order. Portion sizes were huge!
Despite being here on business the hotel is well placed and very relaxing. Overall excellent thank you! "

"Fantastic two night stay at the Ashdale Guest House. Lovely big family room. Very comfy beds. Delicious breakfast. Great location. Special Very friendly and helpful hosts. "
"Lovely B&B. Clean, spacious and quiet. Breakfast was really good.
Close to Matlock by foot. However, it’s quite on a hill. So not so practical for people with mobility issues. "
"Accomodation was larger than it looks in the photos, which was a nice surprise. The beds were comfortable, however I would take earplugs as I struggled to sleep due to the cars going past outside. I had to go and buy some from the town centre. At night the cars whizz past really fast.
The listing states that there is free parking but this isn’t true- you have to pay for it. I have asked Hotels.com to amend this as it’s false advertising. The reason we booked this hotel was for the free parking!!! Luckily we got parked ok in the train station car park but had to pay £15 per car. In the afternoon however the car park soon fills up and people drive up and down looking for a space.
We’d stay here again due the location and the charm of the building. "
