"We had an amazing stay . The staff were wonderful extremely helpful and efficient . A really handy location too ,just a stones throw from the centre of Chester and overlooking the canal . Our room was very spacious too . Breakfast was very good and we loved the pool ,the sauna and gym . Overall fantastic"

"Lovely Junior Suite 1709 - rooms were clean. Check-in was quick. The breakfast was all you could eat and had everything you could need. The rooms were well air conditioned and much needed on a very warm weekend. We also got to stroke Queenie, the hotel cat. Would definitely stay again. "

"I paid just under £100 for one night, which felt a bit high for what was offered. The first thing I noticed was the bed — it was quite small, especially for two adults, and not particularly comfortable. There were also some maintenance issues. The drawers were broken or missing, so there was nowhere to store belongings. In the bathroom, the bath itself was very small, even for someone of a smaller build, and the layout was awkward — opening the door would hit the toilet, and it wouldn’t shut properly. Additionally, some of the bathroom tiles were broken, which made the space feel a bit worn and in need of repair. Overall, the stay was okay, but there’s definitely room for improvement, particularly considering the price."
