Great Stay
Property was as described,-lovely with plenty of space and everything you needed and exceptionally clean. Paride was very happy to help and accommodate any requests. Thoughtful food items left in the cupboards as well as a delicious tiramasu which didn't last long! Trains into venice pretty much ran on time which was great. All in all a great place to stay for visiting Venice. Thank you! 😊

Family Vacation
Our host was fantastic. Paride did a great job showing us the place and gave us some tips for getting around. Venice is a 30 minute drive away and there is also a train station across the street. There is a cafe with wonderful pastries about a block away.

Lovely stay next to Venice
We have arrived late evening and were surprised by warm welcome from Paride. He showed us a property and provided a home made cake. Also in fridge we found water, bear, juices, etc. Property was very clean and if we ever needed anything Paride was always available. We found the description of property listing is very accurate. Everything you needed was there. Location was perfect for us. A 30 min drive by bus to Venice. We also hired a car to visit other places like Padua (highly recommended). We visited several restaurants based on recommendation from Paride which was perfect on our taste. I will highly recommend this apartment and Paride as a host.

Home life in Quaint Town
Paride lives downstairs and the upper apartment is very large. Kitchen- has all basic utensils and condiments even balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Staple for salad dressing. We didn’t cook. Bathrooms- large one had shower and 2 sinks with toliet. Perfect for multiple people at one time. Other bathroom had toliet and sink which was bonus to have so you didn’t tie up the bathroom. Living room- huge dining table but we didn’t use Comfy pretty velour blue fit for 3 adults TV no American stations Lots of DVDs but only handful of adult ones We watched American Gangster, Gladiator and Untouchables Outside patio- nice table and plastic chairs to look at country side Main bedroom- nice sized bed with dresser and alot of mirrors (usefu) No tv but I used my Ipad No individual AC so I left door cracked at night Small bedroom- 2 twin beds TV inside but no American stations Nice closet space Hospitalty is very good. We arrived to a homemade lemon maybe orange bundt cake. OMGOODNESS so good. Fresh fruit, milk, juice, coffee just nice to have when you arrive. Transportation- Bus from Venice to Adria $4.50 Euros. Buy from corner store Morning cappuccino- Turn right from apartment walk 2 blocks to corner and make a left. Right hand side. Omgoodness delicious coffee and croissants. For 3 Americanos and 3 croissants it was just 5 Euros. The owner makes very artistic beautiful cappuccinos. The baked goods are just to die for. Cash only Dinner or lunch- if you keep walking about 3 blocks on the same side there is Al Garabadi Pizzeria. We ate there all 4 nights. Omgoodness delicious delicious delicious. Very reasonably prices. Dinner for 3 with drinks $30-40 Euros. We stayed here on our visit to Venice to be out of the hustle and bustle which was perfect. We never ventured out in town as after walking 3 miles we couldn’t find anything. Paride mentioned going to Dola which you could on the train as it looked like 2 stops down. Excellent Accomodation and Host!
Dear Paride, My family and I wanted to THANK you and your family for taking care of us during our stay in Venice (17th to 21st Aug) in your exceptionally beautiful apartment. From the moment we arrived, you kindly helped us load the luggage to your apartment and were greeted with wonderful refreshments, cold drinks, fruits, figs and lovely cake. You gave us the largest and juiciest tomatoes we ever tasted, even my son had some as he usually does not have tomatoes. We all loved our stay at your fully decorated apartment (fit for a King and Queen) with all the facilities you provided, TV, DVDs, Piano, Nintendo Wii (which kept the children occupied when it was too hot to go outside). I would certainly recommend this place to anyone visiting Venice and nearby places of interest as the train station is just across the road, with lots of supermarkets nearby plus 30 minute drive to another beautiful seaside town resort Chiaggo. Best wishes Kaush and family

Wonderful home, host and stay
We had a great time in this home. We have been traveling through Europe with our five kids and have stayed in a number of homes from Airbnb and vrbo. This one was the best one. It has great air conditioning and is well appointed and the second bathroom (even only a toilet) made a big difference. Plus the host is exceptional. He had some basic food items like milk and juice and pasta, which just made the arrival easier. There is a grocery store very close by (two actually, one in each direction). And he had made a cake for us upon arrival, which the kids immediately devoured. And on our last night he made a nice dinner for our family which we all enjoyed. I don’t want to set the expectations too high for future renters but even without the great hospitality, the home is excellent. A couple things to know. The home is on the upper floor of the house as an attached apartment. The host has a lift that will hoist heavy luggage up the story to the entrance. But this was a plus as we have hauled our luggage up many flights of stairs for various rentals. And we took a risk on renting a home not closer to or even in Venice. There are pros and cons to that decision but it worked great for us. We actually drove the first night back to Verona to see a play there and that was nice to have that option. We also ended up spending two days at the beach in Sottomarina. We wouldn’t normally do that in Venice but we had been seeing museums pretty steady for a couple weeks and the kids (and us) needed a break. So we ended up with just a day in Venice. I love that city but it is hard with kids with all the walking. So there is something to taking the time and spending the money (it is much more expensive) to just stay in Venice. But for us, this flexibility worked well for our family and saved some money. We highly recommend the home. to others.
