Perfect Little Jewel in Venice

What a perfect little jewel in the heart of Venice. I loved the neighborhood- beautiful and quiet, but still close to everything. The room was small, but had everything we needed and was wonderfully clean.

Péssimo! Funcionários grossos, café da manhã agendado pra começar às 8:00 e às 8:30 não havia sinal de café. Quase perdemos o trem que era as 9:01 pois não havia ninguém pra receber as chaves. Você é alérgico? Então esqueça este hotel! Tem carpete até no teto! Isso mesmo, TETO. Ah, outra coisa: o quarto é minúsculo. Não cabe você é sua mala... não me pega mais. E olha que o preço nao é dos mais baratos!

Cosas buenas y malas. Está bastante central y la decoración es muy bonita, ambientado antiguo, pero se nota dedicación. Desayuno bueno, había dulce y salado. Personal extremadamente agradable. Lo malo es que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba o estaba apagado. No cambian diariamente las toallas, nunca lo dicen, y luego vi que sobre un escritorio hay una serie de "reglas" donde informan que se cambian cada tres días. Si bien no es tan caro (para ser Venecia) el tema de las toallas me parece muy incómodo. Lo segundo es que el desayuno se supone, lo sirven de 8-10, pero nuestro primer día bajamos a las 8:10 por un tour y no había casi nada listo, de hecho comimos "lo que había". Por estas razones no volvería.

My bedrrom was quite nicely decorated but there was no english tv which was a problem. The breakfast was dreadful- no fresh fruit and microwaved croissants. While the area was quite central I wouldn't have felt comfortable walking around on my own at night time. The staff were very pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay. Nice staff, great breakfast. I believe it is a family operated hotel by mother, son and daughter. My only notice is the shower is a little small, and could be an issue if a guest is quite large. Quite location, but prepare to walk to major sites like, Piazza San Marco, or called St Mark's Square in English. I thought a great value for a hotel on Venice island.

Prachtig hotel in een rustig deel van de stad

Kleinschalig hotel in een rustig deel van de stad dat toch op loopafstand is van het drukke centrum. Mooie kamer met alle faciliteiten en zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Het ontbijt is in een wat kleine maar knusse kamer en prima verzorgd.

Quiet location near to the main attractions

Stayed here with my daughter and this very small hotel was in a great location. All rooms on 1st floor (no lift) with a tiny breakfast room. Decor traditional Venetian - overall impression was "small". We would stay here again though as it was good value for money.

An Okay Stay

The place is not really close to any major Wharfs so be prepared to drag your luggage over a couple bridges. I do not recommend anyone who intend to have lots of luggage (especially heavy ones) to stay here as it can be challenging to get to. Location is quite far from the main train station so a water taxi cost us EUR70.00 for two people (I could not bare to compete with all the tourist again on the water bus). Bathroom was quite awkward as the urinal was directly in front of the main toilet so my knees would hit it when I sat down. It was also right next to the shower so every time I stepped in and out of the shower my legs would brush it and it was not a nice feeling. The room itself was big which was good.. although quite dark! The cold breakfast was OK

good combo of modern and historical

Nice neighborhood (not as touristy as some). Room nicely decorated in Venetian style, but appreciated the modernity of the A/C and bathroom. Was easy to walk to some key sites. Breakfast was basic but adequate.
