There are pros and cons to this place, depending on what you want from a hotel. We stayed in the gamily toom with canal view. Pros - very central - easy to get to from Rialto water bus stop - big sleeping area - lovely balcony with a canal view - good price Cons - curtains don't shut so you need to close outside shutters but as the room is almost double height you can't cover the top windows (or the ones by the door) - in winter there is no staff (except maids to clean the rooms) at reception and you habe to check in at another hotel (short walk away). Not a proble for us, but with small kids it would be an extra hassle - it has a restaurant below the

We loved this place. Centrally located in the city of Venice. Staff was very friendly and did a great job communicating about check-in. What is amazing huge room and a beautiful view of the grand canal. The hotel is more of a boutique which makes even better for its charm

The property said we were upgraded to their boutique hotel. We stayed at Locanda Ai Santi Apostoli, the staff was nice and very accommodating - we guess all their hotels are like that. Easy and convenient check in. We arrived after check in hours, so the hotel provided us a link via email to check our self in for when arrived. Once again the staff was great. Small, old hotel that was comfortable.

You do check in at a different location than the actual hotel. The wonderful lady that checked us in gave precise directions and it could not have been easier. She was kind and efficient!! The hotel felt authentic and the “lobby” had a view of the canal. The AC worked very well. We felt comfortable and safe for our stay.

The broken air conditioning really put a damper on our stay. The room was nice and clean, and we loved the private balcony. It was not convenient to check in/out at a different location and there was not a person at the reception area at our location. When we called about the air conditioning being broken we were told it would be fixed. When we called a second time, we were told it could not be fixed - we were not offered other accommodations, a discount, or any compensation.

Fantastic service, great location

I stayed for one night during a long layover between flights and although i arrived after check in reception closed and departed the next morning before it opened again, the staff were amazing in accommodating me outwith these hours. The hotel and the room itself was great, especially for the price, and is a great location only 15 minutes walk to St Marks Square and good links for the water bus etc. I happened to be staying the night before a 24 hour transport strike which i wasn't aware of before booking the city centre location, and having only found this out once i arrived there was a worry regarding making it to the airport in the morning. The staff dealing with the Whatsapp contact number were amazing in helping, they gave me all details for a private water bus company and all info on timings/location etc. This really helped me to have a relaxing nights stay. Absolutely fantastic customer service going above and beyond. I plan on visiting Venice properly in the future and will definitely be looking at staying here again!

Family Vacation

We really enjoyed our Venice stay! The room was comfortable, the bathroom fully renovated, the location was ideal. The only challenge was the thin walls. We were kept awake and woken by our neighbours.
