Personally we liked that it was outside of the island of venice. It was in a quiet area, but super convenient to the airport and to a frequent bus that takes you right to the island.
Close to airport . Breakfast was delish.
Staff was pleasant and helpful .

Low-end hotel
Wouldn't return here. Room was very unimpressive. Beds were as cheap as you can get. Had to pay extra for airport shuttle (25 Euros) - which wasn't disclosed on Hotels.com, and staff argued profusely that it wasn't their problem. Hot water came on and off. Walls and ceilings are paper thin - very noisy. Pretty low end hotel. Easy bus access though - if you can figure out the bus system.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
The hotel is well situated near the airport and two restaurants are wthin a two minute walk. The buffet breakfast was very nice with lots of selection. Staff were extremely attentive and helpful.
The "bed" was two twin beds pushed together which means there was a ridge down the center of it. Not the most comfortable configuration for a couple.
The room was awful. Heavy smell of disenfectant. Smelled so bad that I left and found another hotel. Unfortunately it was non refundable so I had to take a loss. I will not rely on ratings from Expedia ever again
