"Close to St Elmo Fort & The War Museum. Easy to walk to the centre of Valletta. The staff were lovely & very accommodating when I had to make several changes because of the Iran war & Lufthansa strikes. "

"The room was very nice and breakfast was good. The lady who served the breakfast was very helpful and hardworking. We really appreciated what she did. The very big drawback about this hotel is the terrible problem of the noise from the bar next door. I have never stayed in a hotel in which even with earplugs it was hard to sleep due to the relentless pounding of the bass from the bar's music system till very late into the night. Potential guests need to be warned about this."

"Superb location in the heart of Valetta, and importantly, this is in a quiet residential side street so you're not affected by the noise and animation of Republic Street's restaurants and cafes. Staff are fabulous and buffet breakfast is great. No complaints and would recommend. Stayed here for 3 nights with my mother in 2 separate rooms. Room 205 is rather nicer than room 103 but both perfectly fine for a stay where most of the time you're out exploring. Take a swimming costume as there;s a small pool!"

"Good looking property in an excellent location for exploring Valletta. The staff were all friendly and happy to help. The includrd breakfast was mainly from a set menu, but they were happy to make adjustments for individual preferences."

"Customer Experience - Alexandra was excellent and went beyond to help. We had an issue with our room and it was resolved very well/quickly and got restaurant reservation / booking every night. The rooftop restaurant has the best view of Valletta and again the staff very friendly and helpful. Rooftop pool amazing and sun deck brilliant. Final thank you to night shift guy very friendly and hepfull."

"Perfect location to enjoy Valetta and to use as a base to explore other parts of Malta, including just a 10-15 minute walk to the ferry point we used to go to Gozo. The room was very clean and a comfortable bed. I would highlight the hotel proprieter Mark for his welcome and incredible local knowledge and willingness to make time for us in his busy schedle to help us make some local plans as it was our first visit to Malta. He even contacted a trusted Gozo based taxi and tour guide who met us upon our arrival at the island. There is a wealth of nearby restaurants caterering for all tastes, including some roof top eating places with great views. Some people have left reviews relating to the late night noise, but honestly with the window shut and AC on, we didn't notice a thing and for me it just added to the friendly vibe and buzz that is Valetta. A final shout out to Jason who is the local taxi and tour guide who sorted the airport run and spent a day with and was really friendly and crammed a lot in for us so that we didn't miss anything."

"Lovely stay as a solo female traveller. Great breakfast and perfect location. Only thing missing is access to a pool. My room had an interior courtyard view, but was lovely. Bathroom is a bit cramped but has all of the necessities. No compliants. Staff was excellent. "

"Brilliant location for walking to centre of Valletta or to ferries . It is also on a city circular town bus if tired at end of a day sightseeing. Very friendly staff who went out of their way eg to heat up some water for an evening Lemsip! Very good breakfast. Would definitely stay there again."
