"Fantastic stay! Helpful friendly staff, breakfast had everything you would expect at a big fancy buffet but on a smaller scale. Room was lovely, shower excellent. Bed was comfy, especially once I put on the doona that was in the cupboard. There were even robes and slippers! The lift was appreciated too. Location is perfect, around the corner from all the action on Merchant St. A relatively easy walk from the bus station, with a small carry on case. A large suitcase and it would be too far, I’d take an uber. Would definitely return. "

"Very accommodating staff lovely Jacuzzi room with veranda and excellent view of some of Mt Carmel Catherine, I wish they had slightly brighter LED bulbs in room with grey and black in side some light would help participate a bright stand lamp or desk lamp next to the mirror roof top restaurant is lovely "

"Beautifully restored boutique hotel, close walking distance to everything in Valetta but a street off so it’s not loud at night. Comfy beds."

"Location is central with great view on roof top. But it is no up to the 4 star hotel standard. The standard room we booked did not have proper window and shower. We had to upgrade to a “balcony” room to get those. But the room was the last one available and it had a strange smell. There were multiple large trash containers across the narrow street from the hotel entrance. We smelled trash and saw flies coming into the hotel all the time. Not a satisfactory stay, to say the least."

"I really liked the hotel. It was in a good location. the staff was wonderful and the breakfast was good. The air conditioning was excellent along with the shower. Great water pressure. The two downfalls and the reason we would not return was 1) the noise level at night lasting until 2-230am. There is a bar next door that plays very loud EDM (Electronic Dance Music) into the morning. The vibration from the music kept us from sleeping. Even my pillow was vibrating from the bass. 2) No receptionist to assist you with checking in, just self check. Found it very confusing. The sign stated there would be a receptionist from 2pm-5pm? daily but we only saw the person once in the 5 days we were there."

"Perfect location, lovely staff and very nice breakfast. Only negative was the beds have no give in them so uncomfortable , the shower is see through and the toilet has no door . Not a problem for us but others may not like it. "
