Amazing Family Ski Hokiday
The property is cozy and warm. An idyllic cottage close to the best skiing in the world! Lot’s of board games with the kids in front of the fireplace.

Good Place to Stay
The upside of this property is the great location close to many services and restaurants, the well-stocked kitchen, and the cleanliness of the cabin. The parking was a bit confusing, what we should do with a second car, but since we were the only people staying in the building it wasn't an issue. The beds were uncomfortable, unfortunately. The king bed is quite hard, and the queen is somewhat slanted or not completely flat.

Gore Creek Cabin in West
Great property for seeing the whole area. The bus stops in the neighborhood and the rental e-bikes were a bonus! Very well appointed and genuine log cabin right on Gore Creek! Perfect spot.

Good Choice
Very easy entry, nice environment, clean, close to bus stop for ski shuttle, very quiet neighborhood/complex, pretty views out the back, nice parking option. WiFi connection, TV/music channels easy to access. Only note, the 2nd bedroom/kind of loft had an uncomfortable mattress.

Cabin on the river
Great location for a family getaway. Just about 10 mn from Lionshead. Loved the feel of the cabin with its high celings and western motif.

The best cabin!
We had the BEST time at this adorable cabin. Everything was perfect and we had everything we needed. We made many dinners and played games by the fire. It was so beautiful inside and out. We had the best time and would definitely stay here again!

Diamond Property in Vail!
Let me start by saying we just left this home today and we are actually grieving! Thie cabin was more than what we expected. The home is cozy, fully stocked, easy to get to, and close to everthing! The cabin is well loved by the property owner and it shows! And I am so very grateful that the owner shared the property with us. The cabin was amazing and the property around it was breathtaking. We just DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE. We will be back!

Perfect for our Autumn Get Away
This property was beyond perfect for us. It was clean, close to Vail and hikes but out of the actual village hubbub. It was SO QUIET and peaceful. Every amenity was perfect! The log cabin feel made it us think we were really in mountain retreat, versus a townhome. Loved every second we were there! I would highly recommend and hope to go back. Regarding the management company, I felt incredibly informed. They provided plenty of check in, property, check out information via emails and the iPad in the cabin. It was a fantastic stay!

Great getaway in the mountains.
Overall the property was excellent for us. We stayed 6 nights - 2 with son and family, 2 by ourselves and 2 with friends. We had all our meals at the house due to COVID, so the kitchen was used a lot. The dishwasher did not work (maintenance looked at it and needed a part) so we had dishes to do after every meal. The washer also had to be repaired during our stay, but they were very timely in getting it fixed. The only other issue was the lighting, very dark inside once sun is down. Lamps need 3way bulbs and the stairs need some kind of lighting on them for safety. Loved sitting out on the deck by the Gore Creek - listening to the water and looking at the mountains! Location was also good - easy access to everything.

Great cabin, great location
This cabin (townhome) fit our needs perfectly. We liked that it was away from the village, and very quiet. The bus service into town was seamless. We loved the log cabin feel. The furniture was comfortable and ample. The only negative comments would be that the dishwasher does not clean very well, and access to the back deck was limited because the French doors were locked and sealed. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again.

We have had more lighting added including a new chandelier and ceiling fans with lighting in the bedrooms. Additional remodel work has been done to make the property lighter, like new flooring and kitchen cabinets. We hope to see you again.

Spacious, quiet and comfortable condo in West Vail
We really enjoyed our stay in the log cabin, it was very comfortable, quiet, and conveniently located close to the bus stop to Vail Village. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, we would definitely stay there again.

Definitely below average Vail VRBO rental.
Good location Property needs maintenance and is looking worn. My impression is that the owners want the income from renting out the property but don't really want people there. For example, half of every closet is locked closed. The. Other half hS items stored in it like fans, vacuum, etc. Ski locker outside is unavailable to guests but they don't want you to bring ski gear inside. Overall impression is not a welcoming one.

We have always felt that there is ample storage space in the closets but we will look closer at that and the ski lockers. Additional work was completed in the summer including more lighting and lighter floors and cabinets.

Nice place, good value, but a few annoying flaws..
This was a fair, budget choice for a few days in Vail. The location is good if you have a car and still ok if not because the town bus stops close by. The unit was clean and well maintained and while the furnishings felt old and a bit overdone, it was decent little ski condo. The reasons that this is a 2 star review are disqualifying for me so unless they’re fixed I wouldn’t go back. 1). The house is filled with signs giving rules that seem overbearing like; Take off shoes inside, don't open the back door, parking pass must be left in a particular spot or they’ll charge $50 (for a 50 cent piece of plastic), don’t bring skis inside, and more. It’s like staying in a jail cell. If I’m renting a condo and paying for cleaning services and any damage, just let me enjoy myself. 2). The “no skis inside” rule would be ok if there was a place to put your skis outside. Actually, there is a closet on the deck that would be good for skis but it’s locked and you don’t get to use it for the price you paid to rent the entire unit. So skis are to be left outside un-locked and could get stolen. 3) The showers have severe water restrictors installed and the water flow is awful. After a day of skiing a shower is a necessity and the shower is basically little more than a slow dribble. I do understand the conservation necessity but this is different. I’ve used showers in Vail before. I’ve never had to take so long to get the soap off. This feels more like it’s about saving a few bucks on heating the water than conservation. So overall, it has potential and with those 3 items fixed I’d recommend the unit happily. If those items were addressed it would be a great value.

OK, but the property needs some updating.
The property feels tired and in need of updating. For example, small TV, old, tired pans, carpets in bedroom that need stretching, lamps one can't reach with lights burned out, and the place is generally a bit dark. Also, you are advised to keep ski outside in the locker, but it was locked (so ski had to go in the car). On the positive side, the unit is a close walk (?100 yards or so) to the ski bus stop, and the management (Berkshire Hathaway) communication/information was very good.

There is information in the unit about the ski lockers, we do provide a code for it. We had also just purchased brand new frying pans. Great spot
Terrific vacation home. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because the 2nd bedroom is open to the living area below which means you need to keep extra quiet when someone is sleeping there. We brought our teenage son with us and we get up earlier than he does. Everything else was great.
