"Our family of 5 stayed for 6 nights. I booked 2 rooms as there wasn't one that could accommodate all 5 of us. About 2 months prior to our departure I contacted the resort and asked if we could have adjoining rooms. Responded saying they would get us as close to each other as possible. Upon arrival we asked multiple times if there was something that could work for us. Although there were people coming and going constantly there wasn't much effort seen to try and accommodate our request. Hotel was full. We also don't speak French so understanding phone conversations wasn't possible. Not sure if changes were actually possible or not. My room and my husband's room smelled drastically different. Mine, room 328 smelled very musty, even with air conditioning on. Smelled nice when housekeeping came however went back to smelling "gross". A term used by my whole family. This was not mentioned until checkout as I didn't think it was worth the effort as we hadn't had much luck moving rooms earlier as we were always told the hotel was full. The pool guys were great. Able to find cushions when the loungers were full, bring up kayaks from the beach if requested. Easy to converse with and accommodating. Resort was cl Dinner restaurant was good, although selection was limited for us. Buffet restaurant changed prices every day, explanation never fully understood. Expensive. Location is great. Grocery store is 5 minute walk as is Le Gout Thé, very good for breakfast."

"This home was better than the pictures. I was pleasantly surprised that it fit the listing and reviews pretty accurately. The host offered to pick us up from the ferry which was nice. I chose to rent a car because it worked best for our situation but they have a car available which is nice since the house is a bit remote. They had beach towels and some beach toys available to borrow. The pool was heated and kept at a pleasant temperature for swimming. I would defiantly recommend this place to friends and family. You will not be disappointed."

"We enjoyed every bit of our stay here. The property was beautiful and we really appreciated being able to use the SUP and snorkel equipment. Great snorkeling right out the door! The host was very accommodating and responsive to any questions we had. We loved the open air common spaces, The bedroom layout worked perfect for our family and the A/C units in the 3 main bedrooms kept the sleeping temperatures very comfortable. We loved visiting the nearby park and beach and available food trucks next door. This was a perfect place to start our trip before traveling to other islands."

"We thoroughly enjoy this beautiful property! The location right next to a beautiful beach is perfect! The snorkeling right outside our unit is beautiful in the water is calm. The unit itself is very well kept, it’s a quiet complex. Everything in the unit works great the washer the dryer, air conditioning, a well stocked kitchen! The management has been wonderful! Great communication! I would highly recommend this place."

"I stayed at Fare Vainato Beach for nine days, 1st with my cousin and then solo, and it was perfect for both. It’s very close to the beach, a 2 minute walk and the location is beautiful and peaceful—waking up to the sound of the ocean was unforgettable. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, making it easy to settle in for a longer stay. My advice is to rent a car, we didn’t realize renting a car would be required for the area as it’s difficult to get a taxi or catch a bus to explore. The hosts were welcoming and kind, creating a relaxed atmosphere throughout my visit. Whether traveling with someone or on your own, Fare Vainato Beach is a wonderful, authentic place to stay in Tahiti. I highly recommend it. "
