"We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful home right on the beach. It is exceptionally comfortable, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities one could wish for. Communication with the host (Hinatea)was prompt and effortless, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The home is ideally suited to accommodate three couples with ease.The location is most convenient — 35 minute drive from the airport in normal traffic, with a fabulous bakery just across the road and shopping close by. For those seeking adventure, Moby Dick is less than 2 km away, offering whale-watching and swimming excursions.We would most certainly recommend this property and very much hope to return again. "Sis and I arrived a few hours prior to check-in time. Warmly greeted and offered coffee, juice and fresh native fruit. Delicious. Our rooms were ready and we were able to occupy them. No A/C, but leaving the doors open there was a nice breeze and sounds of the ocean waves. Early to rise with the local roosters; but refreshing sound compared to the city noise. Older accommodations; but clean. Enjoyable stay. "

Clear communication and access instructions, labels and reminders posted around the house set clear expectations. The house is well equipped, we enjoyed the lounge chairs, kayak, barbecue. "Villa Kahaia was a fabulous 4 day stay. It provided everything we needed and was super comfortable.It was very relaxing at sunset and in the evening sitting outside. Happy Market at beginning of the lane was great and so easy to walk to.Communication was very easy and excellent instructions for entry. We could have stayed much longer."

"Good things include a large kitchen, small pool, laundry and a large garage. Not so good is the WiFi available in the common areas only, and the need to cross a common hallway to enter your designated bathroom. Not sure about the breakfast in the description, I had to serve my own."
