Frequently asked questions

When is the best time to go to Vagli Di Sotto?
The best time to visit Vagli Di Sotto is during the spring (late April to early June) and autumn (September to October) months.

These periods offer the most pleasant weather, with warm but not excessively hot temperatures, making it ideal for exploring the surrounding Garfagnana region and enjoying outdoor activities. The countryside is particularly beautiful, with spring bringing wildflowers and autumn offering stunning foliage. It's also less crowded than the peak summer months.

Couples looking for a romantic escape will find these seasons superb for leisurely drives through the Tuscan hills, wine tasting, and enjoying quiet evenings. The milder weather is also great for hiking and visiting local villages without the intense heat of summer.

For those interested in outdoor pursuits, such as hiking or cycling, spring and autumn provide comfortable conditions. The trails around Lake Vagli and in the Apuan Alps are more enjoyable when the weather is cooler.
