"The cabin is in need of repair. High speed internet was not true we could never get anything on the Dish tv to work The cooker was rusted, grill didn’t fit. The furniture on the back porch was rusted so we set in camper chairs we bought. The front door deadbolt didn’t work. "Everything was great. However there is no TV so be prepared to spend that day outside or bring board games. Not much to do at night. We were gone during the day everyday but would have been nice to watch at night. Also if you plan on cooking they have everything but seasoning youll want to bring that with you. "No this wasn't a great experience, we had to find the office and locate our keys in the cabin, which was fine. Next we get to our cabin, only one bed, there were two of us both men, the picture showed a loft with a bed above another, we tried to order pizza but they were already closed. Also thought it was odd that there was no TV in the room I understand this is glamping but I still expected more than a small mini fridge and a single queen size bed, one end table and some coat hangers"

"Place was good and location right downtown. Thr only negative was the shower. It was like a very small closet."

"We rented an RV and had no idea this was even a thing. The owners go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied. Nothing is ever perfect, but just having someone try their best to make you happy is what matters most to me. The property itself is amazing and this is definitely a place we will come back to, either renting or bringing our own RV. They are also right in the heart of where the best spots on the Frio are."

"The place is a fantastic cabin and bunkhouse with enviably quiet and beautiful river access. I stayed the weekend with my five older sons as part of our annual retreat. We had a great time. However, for us the stay and cost were offset by having to provide all of our linens and towels. We had one roll of paper towels and one trash bag which were insufficient for a group this size. Leaving with all the dishes done; not just running in the dishwasher, was an added inconvenience relative to the cost. Again a wonderful place but the pre- and post-trip labor felt more like camping with walls and a/c than we had hoped for."

"My family and I had such a great time at Steve's home and are already planning our next trip back. The large shaded yard and the cold river helped us bear the August heat and we were able to have fun outside all day. The water is deep for swimming and fishing and my kids loved the rope swing. The river felt like our own private space the entire weekend. We also enjoyed our nights in the hot tub and the view of the lightning bugs and stars. There were 4 bikes on property but only two were able to maintain air. My husband and I rode into town and I got to relive a childhood memory as I had not riden a bike in years. Don't hesitate to book your stay."
