We are thirty miles north of Uvalde and about 10 miles south of Camp Wood; this rustic cabin is the perfect spot for a quiet, relaxing time on the beautiful Nueces River. The scenic and quiet roads through the hill country are ideal for long drives by car or motorcycle. Search the web for (the twisted sisters, Hill Country). Thank you Tina and also Nathan for assisting in anything we needed! We loved loved the house, property, the scenery and just everything was amazing! It was just what I needed and we will definitely be staying again! We had so much fun just perfect!
The location along the river, far from the noise of town was wonderful! The dark skies perfect for star gazing! We spent so much time outside on the patio. Nathan the caretaker was very kind, friendly, and checked in on us briefly each day to be sure all was well. A terrific getaway!
We drove from East Texas to meet my brother from New Mexico and had a wonderful time. Even though it's a drought/low water time this year the water at the cabin was plenty deep and beautiful to enjoy swimming or fishing. Cabin was very clean and comfortable. We plan on trying to come back again.
It was a great stay with friends and family. We had 2 very young kids with us and they had a blast! My son loved the small kid house (it had an ac). It felt like we had the whole river to ourselves, even with all the cabins booked. Mom wish she had a fishing pole, as there were so many fish!
This stay was everything we hoped it would be. Nathan was helpful and awesome. The house worked out perfect for our family, and the swim hole was perfect. Beautiful views day and night. Everything is provided, all you really need is clothes, toiletries, and food. We will definitely be going back. Thank you for making your place available to us.

From our arrival to our departure, the service was spectacular. Your place allows my family and i to get away from the big city life to peace and quite in one of the most beautiful places and river in Texas. You have a gold mine that is not very well recognized which in a way is a great thing (keeps the crowds out). Thank You for another great family vacation. Looking forward to many more to come.
All The Best! Ish Arebalos
This is our 3rd time to stay at this property and we love it! There were 9 of us, 4 kids and 5 adults. The water is absolutely beautiful at this spot. The dam is close if you want a change of location to fish and swim. Bring a pop up and chairs and spend all day down at the water!
My kids and I really enjoyed this place! It was right on the river, had plenty of outdoor space for us to play, cookout, and make smores. The house itself was perfect.
Best river vacation spot we have ever stayed at. The house is amazing as well, very clean and comfortable. Water access was great and the river section is nice and deep. We will for sure be going back next year.
The really special part of the cabin is the deep water access even during the severe drought Texas is experiencing. We had an excellent stay at the cabin.
