Great little family get away for a few adult siblings and spouses. Thomas was very accommodating when we needed something. Nice place to sit outside and there was hiking close by.
We also got to watch the eclipse and the owners provided viewing glasses which was an added bonus.

It was beautiful and quiet. They had everything you need to eat at the cabin except food so I would make sure to take a cooler with food. Also get gas when you're 40 or 50 miles from there. It's a long way to get gas. If bugs are swarming your car when you're driving in, it might be butterflies. The second time I drove in, I slowed down and enjoyed watching the butterflies fly around the car.

We enjoyed our stay. It was spotless and fully stocked with all the necessities and a few games too. We also took advantage of the large fire ring. The grounds were well maintained. There is no cell service so it was a great way to get away. Be prepared for that.

Heavenly
The name suits it. So lovely! Very quiet; especially good if you want to get away from technology. The grounds are as great as the cabins.

Really a peace of heaven
We met the owner Mr. Thomas and he was a delight to talk to. He is a fire dept. volunteer so he talked to us about the near towns and things to do. We told him we were a 5 hour trip and city folks and we love the quietness of his property and that we were able to see the stars. Also saw a lot of deer roaming in the property, but they kept to themselves. He had 3 cabins in the property and they also allowed us to take our 2 dogs. Will stay there again. Loved it!!!

We had an amazing time at Peace of Heaven cabins. We were looking to truly get away and the property was stunning. Thomas was extremely friendly and chatted with us upon our arrival. Beautiful drive to the Frio River and just far enough to enjoy some real peace. Cabins were extremely clean and had everything you need to relax comfortably. We will definitely be revisiting and highly recommend if you want to spend quality time with family and friends.
Was a nice quiet location very secluded with beautiful scenery. While checking in was told there was wifi that was open, but we were unable to use because needed a password. Txt the number on the laminated paper taped to cabin door but didn't receive a response. The road to get to the property was pretty bumpy as its a 1.6 mile dirt road so if there rain in the forcast you better have a 4x4 truck. Left something in cabin when we left after check out, txt the people to see if they might have found it but never received a response went back to grab it and was no longer there.

The cabins are in a secluded area, if you’re looking for solitude this is the place to go. The cabin was very clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful. If we are back in the area we would stay again.

Nice cozy cabin!
Absolutely loved my stay at the cabin. We were lucky enough to get blessed with snow during our stay. We chose this cabin due to it being a short drive away from Lost Maples State Park and Garner State Park. Check in and check out was a breeze. Cabin was clean and equipped with a microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven and kitchenware. AC / heater unit worked great. Plenty of hot water for showers. Really enjoyed my stay here. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a little escape.

Perfect getaway!
A great setting for a get away from the city. You can see the stars at night and it is nestled far enough from main roads you don’t hear traffic all night. Great property and very close and easy to travel to lost maples and garner state park. Would stay at again if we plan another trip in the area. Really nice to have amenities just like a house and then walk outside into nature.

Family time unplug from Technology!!!
It’s was great they have a volleyball play area and basketball play area. Nice walking trails near by and water creek. Nice if you want family time or just a couples getaway.
Very nice hide-away in a rugged part of the hill country. Perfect for star gazing
with a very large field for an almost un-obstructed view of the sky and no cars driving by. Lost Maples is just minutes away. Leakey is about 30 minutes away over the very scenic hwy377. Everything as promised but after you check in you may never see the caretaker again. Try to make definite arrangements on how to make contact with them
