"OK hotel for the price. The inside looks good, but they need to do something about the interior of the building, it looks really creepy from the back. The cleaning staff needs to make sure the entire room is clean (the table was sticky and with visible spills; they should vacuum more carefully). Reception staff was very nice and helpful."

"Very nice hotel. Great breakfast although 7am start for businesses travelers is a bit late. Toilet in my room ran every 40 seconds so during the night I had to keep the bathroom door closed. Air-conditioning is a little loud but ok. Well kept hotel especially considering it's age. Would stay again. "
"Absolutely spotless and adorable cottage with tons of room, with a layout that makes it appear more spacious than its stated square footage. The decor is cozy and welcoming, with board games galore in the living room. Loved the spacious dining table with bench. Both showers are gigantic and tiled beautifully. We chose the dual-head shower in the spacious back bedroom, which easily holds 2 queen beds and furniture, as we chose to sleep there instead of the front bedroom. The mattress was very comfortable for both my husband and me, and we both have bad backs. The backyard is spacious, and it was nice not to have to park on the street, making it easy to transfer luggage up onto the porch and into the front door. Also, centrally located for sightseeing with a Publix and Trader Joe's within minutes from there. Once again this cottage is clean, clean, and clean - such a joy!"
"Very good location convenient to downtown Winston Salem and Wake Forest University. The house is in a quiet neighborhood and offers plenty of parking. The Internet speed was also great for those of us always traveling with a laptop for work."
"Nice and modern and well appointed. Very clean and cozy. Loved the proximity to Acadia Farms for coffee a few groceries and delicious biscuits. Easy ride to UNCSA and downtown Winston-Salem.
There may have been a squatter living on the porch of the house next door. We weren't worried as we are big city people but other guests may feel uncomfortable. Overall a great place to stay in WS."
Quiet, home-style stay in historic Washington Park neighborhood.
