"This is one special house! It has so much charm and history but has been updated to be very comfortable. It is perfect for a large group....there is so much room to spread out, the bedrooms (actually most of the rooms) are very big, plenty of nice modern bathrooms, big formal dining room. The kitchen and eating area open to a large living area so everyone can be together while you are preparing meals. There is a great bar/pub room right off the kitchen. We cooked every meal at home and found the kitchen had everything we needed, including large dishwasher. Linens were plentiful and nice, beds were very comfortable. The house was immaculately clean when we arrived. The outside area is also very big and there were chickens and cows that pleased our grandkids. Mike was a wonderful and accomodating host, responding to our questions immediately and filling us in on the history of the house. I don't think the pictures do justice to how nice it is! We were there this January on some of the coldest days so far, and I do have to mention that it could get cold in some parts of the house. The room heaters helped. Our grandkids kept asking if we could come back, and all of us felt we would rent it again without reservations. "

"Love the 24 hour complimentary coffee and tea. They have a nice selection of tea, too. Earl Grey and English Breakfast, as well as peppermint and chamomile. Staff was super nice and helpful, esp. Mauricio (early evening-10pm person). The beds were very comfortable, rooms were clean and had a lot of outlets and usb charging points, location was ideal and easy to get to. Breakfast, though limited, had a lot of healthy options - almond milk, soy milk, fruits, boiled eggs. Love our stay, and will surely stay here again. ❤️ "
