"A MUST STAY! As soon as you arrive, you are treated like royalty. The staff are truly incredible, and speak good English. The rooms are spacious and quiet. The private outdoor onsen was very relaxing ($35ish for 45 mins), the bed was comfy and the breakfast nice and fresh. I opted for the Kaiseki dinner and although very fresh and overall nice, it was quite pricey and I’m actually not a huge seafood lover so if you aren’t, I wouldn’t recommend. I loved my one night stay - I wish I had stayed another night! 100/10! "

"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Karaksa Hotel Osaka Namba – A place I’d love to return to! Karaksa at Osaka Namba is a hotel I would definitely come back to. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the entire place is spotless and well-kept. The room is quite spacious for Japan, especially given its convenient location near Dotonbori. There are plenty of shopping and dining options just steps away, and I really enjoyed the sense of safety while walking around the nearby streets. The hotel also offers complimentary soft drinks, coffee, and light snacks in the lobby café — a lovely spot to relax after a long day of exploring. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its comfort, cleanliness, and welcoming atmosphere."

"Highlight of our trip! The hotel rooms are spacious, clean (although I did find a few strands of hair here and there but never felt the place was unclean), and the overall environment was private. Food was great, can confirm dinner and bfast are different every day. It was a really nice touch that the chef stops by. We only had breakfast and then hotel provided snacks (even their snacks were different each day), we felt full until dinner. Onsen was amazing. Would recommend this place to anyone. Staff were so friendly and attentive. If I had to nitpick, it would be how quiet the place is, the floors are a bit squeaky, so we can hear upstairs walking around at night. But otherwise it was very quiet. Again, we had a great time and would go back"

"Brilliant, stay. Beautiful location away from the hustle and bustle of the city. If you are looking for a unique experience this is it. Great food (and lots of it) very friendly staff looking to please. The accomodation is slightly aged but again a hard to beat experience Can’t recommend highly enough."

"This hotel is truly like stepping into another world. The service is impeccable, the room we had was gorgeous and superbly clean. We were lucky enough to have a private onsen with very clean water at the perfect temperature on a lovely little lanai. All of the staff are very friendly and professional and the food is fantastic as well. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a touch of classic Japan in Kyoto!"
