"What a little gem Hill End Lodge was. We arrived late at night - cold and tired. John welcomed us warmly and Sue and Laura cooked up a storm for us. The place was warm and welcoming. Food and drinks were excellent and the atmosphere was just beautiful. Cabin was set in the most beautiful surroundings and cosy and comfortable. Highly recommend and can’t wait to return. Thanks all. "No shops nearby and kitchen basic so glad that we didn’t have to cook a meal. However accommodation comfortable and shower especially good. Two bath towels and one hand towel was a bit light on for 4 nights stay."

"The most amazing and scenic place I’ve ever stayed. Tent was gorgeous with stunning view with the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept in. The amenities on site were great, toilets and showers were so clean and kitchen facilities were great with so much outdoor seating. There is a pool table and darts board as well as board games. The hot tub was amazing also. Would highly recommend Glenayr farm for a couples get away or even for a group of friends who could stay in one of the 4 villas on site. "

"A fabulous farmhouse on an amazing property. Truly and authentically the real Australian outback. It felt like going back in time, and wildlife watching was awe inspiring. Kangaroos surrounded us as far as the eye could see. Gentle cows and sheep roamed the paddocks, We spent most of our time on the deck, soaking it all in, book in hand, quietly chatting. Evenings were spent around one of 3 dining tables, candles lit, board games out. The nights were cool, the days gradually warmed up, followed by a spectacular sunset and magnificent night skies. Hill End itself is fascinating and historic, the coffee at the grocer was great, the new micro pub absolutely fabulous. Mudgee, an hour away, was great for a day trip to pick up some local wine and cheese. All in all, it was a privilege to ring in the New Year in a place like this. Thanks Anna and Bob - we hope to be back again!"
