Disappointing. Let’s just start with it looks nothing like it does in the pictures or the descriptions. The bath was filthy The tiles in the pool were black / grey above the water and underneath green I suspect they don’t clean it The first room we had was hotter than outside, the doors didn’t shut properly so I’m guessing that is why the air con wasn’t very effective. I asked about food and even though online it says there is a spa and restaurant there is no restaurant or spa within the hotel to be seen however there are lots of places to go nearby Blood on the bed sheets Dirty netting above the bed and curtains. It can be very noisy as it is on one of the main streets in ubud however we soon realised the noise was coming from their own staff getting drunk with the restaurant next door rather than the surroundings. The first member of staff we met wasn’t very welcoming, on the first night we had to complain about the air con being useless they came to see it and looked at us blankly however straight away gave us a new room where it worked much better. By the last night the staff were much more friendly however I think if it weren’t for the fact we were only there two nights I probably would have found a different hotel. I understand it is cheap and a 3 1/2 star however that rating is a bit optimistic we have since stayed in lower rated hotels which are much nicer.

Best location I could have ever asked for to be in the heart of Ubud. Located on Monkey road you are walking distance to the sanctuary, the palace, and the market. There are tons of awesome cafes, boutiques, and restaurants all on the surrounding streets. The magnolia room was my unit and it was the most spacious unit I had my entire trip to Bali and for a great price. Yes, there was construction noise in the morning but it was weekdays and began at 10am so I was already up and moving. The bed was super comfortable. All the extra stuff in the room was great to lounge around and the shower worked fine. Oh and A/C was great. The staff were super friendly and nice! Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again on my next Ubud trip. Also central location to get a tour guide to pick you up as well.

The location is absolutely perfect for walking in Ubud. Monkeys, palace, market, yoga barn, many delicious restaurants, and tons of shops all within the area. The rooms are spacious. I had Magnolia room. Super comfortable bed. The place looked beautiful. WiFi was strong. A/C was strong. Shower warm. There was some noise of construction in the mornings around 10am but not enough to disturb. Friendly staff as well. No food on site but you are on the main hub of shops and stores. I stayed an extra night and would use again. Highly recommend.

The service is really good the only negatuve for me was no restaurant so no breakfast included. The hotel is the typical indonesian experience. I loved it especially my outdoor bathroom.

Internet Sucks ! Cell phone on 3g is faster.

The hotel room was large and a great location. The staff weren't around much. The room was clean. However could hear both the shop next door extremely loudly through bathroom wall. Also building work next door. And located near the road also had traffic noise.

A perfect spot
The hotel could not be better located. It is on the same road and only two minutes walk from the famed Monkey Sactuary. The facility was excellent, the wi fi was great and the room was wonderful. Great bed and lay out each building has only four rooms that have its own private pool. Hot water is abundant and everything worked. Concierge was very helpful and spoke fluent english. If ever in Ubud, i would definitely stay there agian.

Beautiful hotel...I was pleasantly surprised with the quality and space of the room. Comfiest bed in bali and a stunning bathtub! I didn't have time to lounge by the pool but I would have enjoyed it. It was central to everything and the staff went out of their way to provide me with any needs I had. Thank you!

My stay at Royal Palm Villa was great! I honestly would recommend it to anyone that is staying in the Ubud area. If you're working at Hubud (the coworking space), this hotel is perfect! Just a two minute walk away. You're also right near the Monkey Forest too! The room and the bed were quite big and the staff was so friendly! I even booked an extra night there just to relax one more day. The only issue is the wifi. It drops quite a bit and can be a bit frustrating, but other than that, my stay was perfect :) Will definitely stay there again if I go back to Ubud.

Quiet hotel but close to everything too!
A really nice place, the villa's are very large and comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. I arranged for a airport pickup and my flight was delayed by a few hours but that wasn't a problem at all. They only appear to have a few villa's and mine had a pool which I only shared with one other villa. I would recommend staying here as they were so helpful and friendly. The bar next door is nice too.

The hotel was close to most tourist attractions. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom layout was a bit odd and you can tell the water settling around tub will eventually cause mold to develop. The staff was friendly and the grounds are well maintained.

よくもなく悪くもなく。レセプションに人がいない事が多く、ほぼ接点がなかった。道沿いなので部屋に侵入者が入ろうとしたら簡単だろなと感じ貴重品は自分でもって歩いた方が安全にみえた。

総合的に良い！
プライベートプールは1部屋毎ではなく、4室での共用でした。プライベートプールと書いてあったと思ったので、少し残念でしたが、そこそこ広く子供と楽しめました。 何度かシャワーの水が出なかったりがありましたが、それ以外は総合的に良かったです。 Wi-Fiがほぼ繋がらない状態。ただ、スタッフに言えば回復。海外パケ放題だったので、毎回言いに行く面倒を避ける為に結局Wi-Fiは使わず。
